Smile 40k KM on a sports Bike from USA to LAHORE SOLO Mission

Im going to be riding my motorcycle solo from Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco to Lahore, Pakistan.

Its as unplanned as it could ever be. Im hoping to last 4-5 months on the road. Not sure of the mileage ill going to be doing, probably around 25,000 miles (40,000 km). I have no idea where i will be staying for the nights, have some camping gear but no idea where the camp grounds are. Doing it on the most uncomfortable motorcycle i could find on this planet. A Sport Bike and not a BMW GS1200 haha.

Its an adventure. Adventures succeed and fail.

i will be up dating on PakWheels and u can follow me on on website.

@rebel Moin's bike is TOTALED. But then I agree with you, somehow this vital piece of Moin's Journey & "ADifferentAgenda" should be saved and if possible, be carried/shipped to Pakistan and preserved. (even if declared in the category of scrap). Just my two cents of worth.

am very sad to hear that you got injured and bike is gone totaled .. but Thanks Allah that your alive and well. All that which happened is part of the game. Am glad that your enthusiasm is not heart and your fully active to continue your ultimate travel.
One suggestion if you don't mind .. i've seen that your using a sports bike for that long tour .. it's very tough job to ride that much a sports bike because sitting position on that style is not that much comfortable as a touring bike.
I am sorry if i interpret in your personal preference .
May Allah helps you to finish your Travel (A different Agenda)

thats exactly what im saying!!!of the 40K estimated travelling distance, she has done like...25-30?? she cant be left behind!! A different agenda wont be a different agenda without her... walk the last 50 feet with her if u have to...but cross that finish line with her!! thats the least she deserves after ssaving ur life twice, sacrificing herself once to do so...

maybe thats me just being irrational...but thats what id have done...

we don't now what kind of insurance he had. You can have just the liability insurance which basically covers the loss of the other car if you were at fault. It is the minimum that you must carry. I am assuming it was the other drivers fault so his insurance should pick up the tab for the repair and hospital bill if any. If Moin has comprehensive insurance then his insurance company would pay for everything and if the other driver is at fault settle with his insurance company.

It is made complex because the companies love to receive your money as premium but hate to pay out and try every trick in the book to avoid paying. Had Moin been in the US I am sure he wouldn't have to work for the test of his life (provided he was not at fault) ..not sure how things work in Europe.

In any case I wish him a speedy (no pun intended) recovery.

    God bless.

I am full agreed with the suggestion of Travelinghell, I also pointed out the same thing but you were already on the way, and now real fact is that this is not a touring bike specially sitting position not complied for long traveling, think about it and if a chance to change it otherwise...............take care and Allah Hafiz.

Indeed it is true that its very difficult to ride that long, insanely long distance on a sports bike with such aggressive sitting ... I did a ~200km from lahore to wazirbad and got dizzy on my way back to lahore because of stressed out shoulders because all the body weight is on em...

I am pretty sad about what Moin is going to decide now!!

Allah Bless you bro!! stay Strong!

get well, pack yr bags, buy a flight ticket home. stop getting every one who knws u tensed up with yr adventures.

you had a wrong bike, you chose heavy traffic routes, traffic gets worse in Asia, consider yrself lucky yr alive and still have yr belongings with you.

last but not least, most probably you were riding above speed limits as you were getting tired.

@levin are you always such a negative person in your life.....? People like u can never even feel or think what this life time achievement is. Keep it up Moin. We and our prayers are with u. Accident can always happen with any one- any where- even in home.

Default Day 105 - Fourth day in the hospital (Crashed Bike Pictures)

i woke up in the morning and got on the wheelchair and nikko started to clean my side of the ward. He made my bed, took the trash off the bed-side-table, washed my water bottle and filled it up with cold water..

When i start the ride again from Arad soon, ill try my best to go see him.

    of course

he then started making some phone calls. Police, tow companies, workshops and soon he figured out where the bike is and wet went down to his car
