For places to visit, you should read Travel Guide of Pakistan...

    Welcome to P A K I S T A N

Your route should be via Iran-Iraq-Syria...

As Israel is hostile country to its neigbouring countries, might there will be no border crossing...

Egypt to Israel border is open.. you can try that.

For biking, different countries have different policies. you have to search over internet read blogs of other bikers

i'd say you enter through lahore from amritsar, visit the northern areas, do some sight seeing in isloo, then go to karachi, from karachi to quetta and then to iran and beyond

just an advice. let your trip go viral(twitter/fb/youtube). media will definitely get your attention via social media and it will help your tour all the way to Pakistan, you know the power of media , i mean even if you get in trouble somewhere it will really help you out,

i am not sure about how your next destination will treat you. e.g. iran, or afghanistan. iran is favorable than afghanistan ( btw i also heard iranian president is actually a jew :p) i am joking

i will never ask you to choose afghanistan route. they might be interested in your bike more than yourself, you may end up loosing your bike

Nice to hear... you are most welcome in Pakistan... and don't simply judge about a place by just reading comments... it's always better to visit the place personally...

The route from Europe to China and India crossing from Pakistan is an ancient and well visited route... During whole year, visitors are crossing through these routes with no issues... (though sometimes a bad incident can happen...)

The northern parts of Pakistan are worth watching and numerous in number... there is a saying that "One life time is less to explore the Northern areas of Pakistan"...

Mostly the route that is followed is Turkey->Iran->Pakistan->India and so on and vice versa...

One good place to get help for such trips outside Pakistan is HUBB... and regarding Pakistan... then this is the best place to ask questions...

Recently i tried to cover some northern parts of the country and here is a brief intro to the North of Pakistan...

    Some advises for you...

If you wish, you can let people know that you are from India. Most probably you'll get to see the Pakistani hospitality. But after mentioning that, never ever mention that you are heading towards Israel... Then you might have a totally different experience...

Regarding the area of Giglit/Baltistan... it is said that there is not a single major crime committed in last 100 years... people there are highly educated and well mannered...

Last month we actually left our bikes and stuff on roadside for almost 2 days and on our return... our stuff was found there untouched... so, from there you can estimate what kind of people are there and what are the security situations there...

Don't know about Syria but in Iran there is no such issue... though they will keep a strict eye on you and you are safe there... until and unless you do something really stupid or dangerous then you are in really great trouble...

In a sense you are right, but Gilgit Baltistan had been a center of target killing also. After some time disputes between shia and sunni community do happen there.

Similarly the area of kohistan is not safe and robberies do take place there many times. So no place in Pakistan is completely safe.

Buddy... Gilgit/Baltistan is a pretty big region (it's a province) and Gilgit is a very small part of it... and that too is only troubled because of Shia Sunni conflict and that too is not very often... Rest... the whole province is very safe in general... so no tension...
