Default Baa, Baba & Baby on Bike: Trip Kotli AJK

Daily working was in progress. I relaxed my back on chair and have a look at calendar placed in front of me. Three days were already highlighted as holiday. Saturday, Sunday and 23 March.

    Kidhar chalain...Kidhar chalain...Bhimber chaltay hain.

Instantly open Pakwheels and place a query to collect information. Some give Thumbs Up, some Thumbs Down.

@asifcae bhai nay tu haath kharay kar diyai "yar may gia nai kabhi bhimber... warna zaroor advise deta... may bhe wait kar ra hun kisi kay response ka..... hahahhaha"

Then @Xoofi jumped in with different venue "Or you can try a different area and go to Kotli, AJK"

The pic that Sufian attached in his post (GulPur Waterfall) was awesome that taunt me to change my plan and he suggest me two days itinerary. Upon inquiring stay in Kotli he said "We stayed in a quite good hotel named valley view hotel opposite MCB kotli branch"

    What MCB!!!

I instantly draft a mail to Branch Manager to get contact number and this was Mr. Sarmad Ali Naseem on a distance of 320 KM from me. He provided me desired information and assure hotel booking at very favorable price.

Now What...its time to pack up.

Some Teasers not Professional but Sensational.

    Default Canal Road

Almost 170 KM has been traveled. We turn right from G.T road along with canal road. Road was good and calm. No much traffic. We stayed for some time on the bank of canal and start journey.

    Default Reached Mirpur

Further and further at least we said good bye to canal road and head towards Mirpur. In the beginning we disappointed to see such mountains those were not worth sightseeing after travelling of 170 KM but in the distance blurry scenery of high mountains were appearing.

At last we reached Mirpur. This was afternoon, Sun was shining, and weather was pleasant, shops with all the necessaries of life on both sides of carpeted road. Band masters were blowing their Bajas on the barat side by of marriage hall; suddenly I saw direction board indicating Mangla ahead.

What Mangla...I stopped bike immediately and open google map.

Oops we were in Mirpur city while we had to take U-turn towards Kotli before entering Mirpur.

This time no cap flew and we mislead.

Looking at your photos I don't think you crossed jhelum at that point. If you took the canal road then it means you turned right at Sarai alamgir.

Thats right.. because ahead of jhelum there is no canal road leading to mirpur.

    Default At Jhelum River

So we returned back and got right way and the way was what a way...

This time we were at high altitude and below is Jhelum river. Vast and blue scenery refreshes our eyes. We stopped for a while and look down...What is that...Oh...people with camps and umbrellas sitting at the bank of river and they were looking like ants. This scene with complete silence and some traffic was like..."Aaj Hum Uper...Aasaman Neechay"

Dear Amjad Bahi first of all thanks for your all likes. When I open my thread and saw last posted by Amjad635, I already guessed that he will ask about CG's performance. Your thread is very interesting about your Dream and i read it whenever you update.
CG performance was at its best. No disappointment in dragging two average passengers, baby and luggage with its own 99 KG weight on those roads.
And yes of course CG Dream has soft seat as compared to others but only suitable within city. For inter cities foam piece really helps and provides extra comfort. Actually this foam is part of our tours and now relaxing at one corner of room :-)
I also liked Front number plate idea that came in my mind suddenly when went to plate painter shop.
