We were thinking to have tea first and then visit the fort, but when guide told us that fort is managed by Serena, we quit the idea of tea as no one was in the mood to spend 100 rupee on a tea cup.

After visiting the Fort, we were quite bored actually. So didn't visit other forts there and hit the KKH again.
Enjoyed some blueberries on the way back.
It was silky ride all the way to Danyor where we left the KKH and turned to Gilgit for night stay.

Stayed at the same hotel where we stayed last time. Our laundary was ready too.

Next day plan was to reach Skardu. And it was 1st of Ramzan too.

Vicky bhai, you have also made the trip.
    Congrats

Will be waiting for the thread.

Actually they also provided a guide in Altit Fort who spoke non-stop about history for 2 hours hence the "boriat".

Next morning, we got ready but no breakfast at the hotel as it was first of Ramzan.
So we stopped at a bakery and got some milk and breads for breakfast.

Then headed to petrol pump. Our last refill was from Ali Abad and we had done 400+Km since then from Ali Abad to Khunjerab and then back to Gilgit. My GS took 9.9 litres till it was full and to my surprise, Pridor took the exact same amount of fuel. A moment of pride for my GS.

Then we hit the KKH and plan was to take Gilgit-Skardu Road which was 40Km from Gilgit on the way back.
Hardly took us an hour to reach the turn.

After leaving the KKH, we picked up a lonely spot to have that breakfast.
While we were eating, we had a wagon passing by which honked at us seeing us eating openly.

After breakfast, we continued towards Skardu. Road was pretty average quality and mountains were dry. Sunlight was too bright and causing skin burns on uncovered areas.

We kept moving at slow pace and it took us about 6 hours to reach Kachura where our first stop was Shangrilla Resort.

The place is quite Luxurious and with quite a bit of Nakhra. You'll have to pay 200 per head for entry ticket, and bikes aren't even allowed inside. But looking at the luggage with us, guard "generously" allowed us to take bikes upto parking lot inside.

After visiting Shangrilla Resort, we came out and moved upward to the upper kachura lake.

Track to upper kachura was tough with water streams on the road, and after parking the bike, a tough walk of 10 minutes. But Lake is well worth the effort.

We didn't spend much time at Upper Kachura as it was getting late and Skardu was still 30Km away.

On the way back, trying to capture Shangrilla resort from height.

After getting back on main road, we sprinted towards skardu.
