By the Grace of Almighty Allah we have completed our bike tour (24th july2015 to 1st Aug 2015) from Lahore to khunjrab and Deosai (The Land of Giants). Tour consist of 8 days, we are 10 people on 6 bike. Bike we use one Honda 125cc, 2 Honda Pridor, 2 bikes 70cc and the amazing and unbeaten Yamaha Yb 100cc (94) model.
Place visit Naran Saiful mulk, Jalkhad, Babusar Top, Gilgit, Hunza nagar, Rakaposhi view, Atta abad lake, passu, and finally Sust, back Astore and visit Rama valley lake and finally Deosai,
    Feelings::::
Naran in raining weather looks heaven on earth and I can?t see Naran before this at its extreme beauty. I visit Naran and Babusar 4 time but can?t see its beauty in rain. This time on bikes in raining weather on the road of Naran can?t explain the feeling of the journey. Video and pic can?t describe its beauty and worth of that place.
Deosai ohhh Deosai 1st time visiting this place the dark black clouds and the view of sheosar lake lush green meadows and the water stream uuuufffff yaara No words for that place ?.
Extreme adventurous and horror journey we complete in raining weather extreme freezing air and the thunder storm in night on bike journey of northern areas, all this thing made this tour extreme adventure and a life time experience. Travelling in night raining weather and crossing water stream on the way after rain when the flow of water at its peak amazing and need big Jigra to cross it. Little accident twice on bike but Thanks to Allah no major injury.
Pic and video of this great journey and Detail of the tour posting Day by Day.
    Total expenses:
12000/ each ? including petrol, hotel, and everything we did?

Gilgit totally in dark NO light from last 2 days due to problem in Naltar power house not in operation, Gilgit haven?t any other source of electricity production except naltar power house. So plan was to reach Hunza valley and visit Attabad Lake and night stay in Hunza.
Take breakfast in Punjab Hotel Gilgit Nehari and chana with Naan. The Nehari taste hhhhhmmmm?. Maza agya ajj nashtae ka?.!

Leave gilgit around 110AM. Some work done on bikes, service and oil changing the bike. The road from gilgit to Hunza valley was amazing no problem at all in this road great scenery and the views of Rakaposhi. Reach Rakaposhi view point around 20PM. Road hi itne mazae ka tha k late hna bnta tha. Took some rest and a cup of tea take some snaps and again move toward Attabad Lake. Around 50pm we r at Attabad lake. Everyone happy in this achievement to see the lake and bzy in taking pics.

Lakin mre mind mne kuch or hi chal rha tha k yaar yahan tak agae hn tu kiyn na isko cross kr k khunjrab pass dakha jae. Last year bhi yahan tak hi aya tha. Bs Cigarette k khatam hne ki dare thi sub ko btya diya k hum isko cross kr k china border jaen gae.

Baat complete hoi nhi thi mri k, questions shuru.
1: Khare te hai na koi ni jna agae bs hun bht ha.
2: ohhh bhy bht ha yahan tak Hunza chalte hn wapis.
3: Kitni door hai yahan se, masoomiyat akheer thi.
4: jana ksy hai, road ksa hai, time, hotel milne gae ETC ETC
5: time kitna lagae ga or jaga ksy hai khunjrab Naran jaisi hogi? hahahah?.
6, 7: humne tu koi problem nhi,
8: finally the (Micro) nick name of my best friend jani jahan jna hai lae chal jeena marna tmhre sath hai?

After long discussion finally decide to visit Khunjrab. Janae k liye kuch na na kr rhe thae but majority say jana hai yar phir pta nhi dubra aen gae b k nhi. Everyone ready bike load on the boat cross Attabad Lake, what an amazing and huge lake with beautiful scenery around the lake. At 60pm we are at the other side of the lake. Bikes unload and move towards Khunjrab.

Adventures and Horror Night: 1st plan to stay at Passu but after some traveling decide to reach Sust and night stay there. All boys moving fast without any stop. But the darkness comes quickly. At 80pm the road totally dark and the weather comes colder but not too much as we except. River Indus the road roaring fast and the atmosphere in night in that area just like Horror movies. Thrda bht dar b lag rha tha night mne bikes per is jaga who b akaile no one around us? someone say yaar kider lae aya hai jaga dakh or pta b nhi k kitna door hai sust. Yeh sust tu humne b sust kr dae ga ajj. Even can?t see any car or truck on that road and no houses around us yaar yahan tu koi zero size bulb ki light b nazar nhi arhi someone shout loudly... LOL...
Due to continuously driven bike for a long time everyone tired. Lakin phnchna b tha or yeh horror road b khatam hne ka name nhi lae rha tha. Around 90pm we reach in a village where we see some light and houses. Ask some local boys about sust. ?Bhy 40min lagain age abhi or sust phnchne mne?. Bs yeh pochne ki baat thi k sub ki nazren mjhpe, or moun latkae hwe. Thrda rest kiya or chal pare dubra sust ravi k sath sust border ki tarf?.
At last we reach sust around 10:15pm. Thanks to Allah k sust ka Singh board nazar aya. Hotel mne room liye phir koi awaz nhi kisi ki. Even dinner ka yaad tak nhi kisi ko. Raat 12 bjae thrda relax krne k baad bhook se neend na aie tu sub agaye yaar khana tu khila dae ab nend ni ari. Sust tha b itna sust k aik hi hotel open tha jispe just palao or qorma tha. Thrda sa khya. Tea peenae ka mazaa apna hi tha us raat. Back hotel and sleep aise jaise Ghorde beach k souen hn sub?. END DAY#3?

    Post Day 4: (27 July)

Bad luck for us in this tour twice. 1st we miss the Deosai and now we can?t touch our next destination Khunjrab pass the reason again Land sliding. This news we hear from the restaurant where we dinner last night. Again very disappointed, khanae ko kch dill hi nhi kiya yeh sun kr. Subho uthane gae tu situation dakh k plan krne gae jahan tak puhnch skae jaen ge, decided last night. Around 80AM everyone ready for khunjrab pass but again bad news came from the local transporters that just 12KM from sust again land sliding in night so now there is no chance to reach khunjrab. yaar wapis chalte hn ab bs bht ho gya sub ki zuban pe bs yehi tha. Shayd qudrat ko yehi mazoor tha?

Start bikes and move towards Gilgit, no plan where to reach or night stay. Even no one ask about the Breakfast. Khunjrab jo miss hogya tha nashta kahan hna tha in sub se?

Around 110AM we reached Gulmit where only 10 min stay for refreshment. Load bikes on the boat and cross the Attabad Lake. Around 120PM unload the bike and move towards Hunza valley. The weather from sust to Attabad Lake is very cool and the scenery around the Mighty K.K. highway amazing and most beautiful. But from Attabad to Gilgit the weather is very warm. Near karimabad one of the bike got puncture. Tire kiya puncture hwa kuch ki mojaen lag gie. Road k sath hi Apricot (khubani) k tree dakh k. two group fellows shahid and Butt rush towards khubani and pick the most delicious khubani in hunza valley. Permission granted for this act by the sweet lady of Hunza. People of Hunza and Gilgit very nice and beautiful.

We manage to reach Rakaposhi view point around 20PM. Some of the group fellow shouts yaar Nashta krlne ab tu?.LOL?. jni yeh breakfast time nhi lunch time hai. Yaar jub breakfst nhi kiya tu lunch b koi nhi krna? with little smile on his face? everyone laughing? chalo nashta krlte hn?

Around 30PM free from the breakfast means Lunch and again start journey towards gilgit. Around 50pm we manage to reach Gilgit to hunza road and wait for other fellows. After some discussion with group fellow we decide to reach Astor today in night. After some rest start towards Jaglot around 60pm reach jaglot fill up the petrol tank from the filling station. Yamaha bike Headlight bulb got fused. Replaced the bulb and the problem solved. Ask some locals about the road condition of Thalechi to Astor?? Bhy 1 hour lgae ga bike pe sirf. Everyone happy! But tension again the raining weather. As we reach Thalechi to Astor road around 6:30pm the mud storm and the raining stop us again. Believe me sub ka rona nikal rha tha. LOL?.

Now again in very tension,,, raat ho jae ge bike pe or is road se koi b waqif nhi tha. Or kitna time lgae ga koi pta nhi or phir barish of yeh tufani raat. Is bar sub keh rhe thae k chalte hn jo hoga dakha jae ga experience to ho hi gya ha night mne travelling ka. Lakin is bar mne Zid kr gya k agae nhi ja skte hum. Bus phir arguments shuru yar chal kch ni hga yeh who bala bala?.. Finally decide to stay night in jaglot and next day early morning depart for Astor. Yaar phir wapis jaglot jana hai ?.FISH?.
Rush back to jaglot before the heavy rain start. Around 7:30PM we r in Jaglot, search Hotel quickly for night stay. Mud or barish ne bura hall kr diya tha humra. Take bath and sleep well? fazool Day END?!

    Post Day 5: (28 July)

Plan to reach Astor ASAP but everyone very tired due to continuous riding the bike last day. Around 70Am all manage to wake up and ready for Astor. Breakfast Astor mne krne gae hum so try to reach Astor ASAP. Some group fellows still not interested to go Deosai but vote janae k huq mne ziyada thae.
Around 8:15AM we reach Thalechi to Astor road. Road from Thalechi to Astor in very bad shape. Just like Horror movies or something like that Road to Hell. Everyone be careful while driving because the single road no Singh board on the road and the danger of that road panic in our hearts.
Yaar sohaib subho ko road dakh kr jan nikal rhi hai ager kal raat hum is road pe hote tu shyad zinda na bachte? LOL? road had se ziyada dangerous tha 4 days bike chala k experience ho e gya tha otherwise yeh road tu jan lae jata kisi ki. Dar yeh tha aik tu alone biker on that road and other pta nhi kub koi pathar oper se ajae. Allah Allah kr k distance cover kiya. bhy sub Aitul Kursi or Darood sharif with safer ki DUA must pardh lo. Yeh sub Allah ka karam hi tha jo abhi tak sub humre haq mne rha.
As per locals bhy bus 45min yan ziyada se ziyada 1ghanta ka safer hai .Mango. 2 hour k baad bhi hum just half tak hi puhche thae. Or ager hum last night Astor janae ki ghalti kr laite tu woh raat or yeh safer tu kbhi khatam na hota or raat 1 bjae se phle Astor kiya phnchna tha humri Rooh parwaz kr chuki hoti 8bjae hi...LOL? Now we got the point if locals say just 1hour drive its means ready for 3 hour minimum.
Just drive and drive on this unpaved road. Manage to reach Astor around 110Am. Fill up the fuel tank from Astor. Take some rest in Kamran hotel and have breakfast. Weather in Astor very pleasant the plan to hit the Land of Giants DEOSAI? journey continue?

Default Bike tour Lahore to Khunjrab and The Land of Giants... DEOSAI... july 2015

Dear bro we groups fellows 1st time traveling in that area on bikes. so no one have any experience or idea about the road and how to drive in such conditions. single road traffic coming from front on sharp turns very dangerous and risky. so all guys driving very carefully on that road. sand on that road and small stones beneath sand very dangerous, i slip in that portion of road and got scratches on hand and legs. in my humble opinion its the most dangerous road for any bikers in who traveling 1st time in that area.
i try to upload some picture of that road.

Doctor Sb. after a long time I have read such a pure urdu.. and really liked it, it was like meeting some one who came from lucknow..

Frankly I am following sohaibs adventure closely and not feeling that big pain because of reading sms's from friends network who have same kind of "gulabi" vocabulary have tuned my nerves to accept it lol..

The way sohaib is writing it feels like he is sitting in front of us and explaining what happened in hi bike Adventure..

but off-course I would endorse you feedback for sure too..

Default Bike tour Lahore to Khunjrab and The Land of Giants... DEOSAI... july 2015

    @vickytulla

You should thank your friends for helping you learn a new language lol. As for me, i just couldn't get my head around it.
Initially i tried, and oh boy i tried hard to comprehend it, and was able to figure out just enough to become interested but still not enough to understand what was really being said, and that made me give in to the frustration.

I've noticed so many friends here struggling yet dragging on with English while I'm sure they could have just saved everyone the trouble by prefering urdu as the medium of narration. And mind you there's nothing more stylish and classy than reading / writing / speaking comprehensive urdu, the language of royals.

Anyway, i hope you're doing well and i hope we'd meet up someday, either in Karachi or Lahore. 😊
