Wink Invitation for Tour to Gawadar in this season

Me and one my friend, are planning to visit Gawadar on bikes in next few days. We want to complete the adventure before start of swear winter season as now a days temperature is modest and specially on coastal highway areas weather is also pleasant in these days. We are only two guys on two bikes and invite all community members to join us. if any friend wants to join us then plan can be adjusted to facilitate all trip members. Currently we have a tentative plan of 7 days trip with 2 to 3 days stay in Gawadar.

All interested guys are warmly welcome to this adventure.

And experts are also requested for thier valuable suggestions as it is our first such a long trip.

Dear bro farhan_khetran m shocked to read ur painful experience n wanna add that iranians are xtrmly prejudice nation in terms of thier ethnicity and their sect. Bro may shower His blessings upon u and all of us.ameen. i have already read ur all threads on pw n found them quite informative.

n thanx to u that u informed me about the hidden dangers. I also consulted with my some other friends who have some experience about baluchistan. Majority of them told me never tell to anyone in Baluchistan that I am from punjab rather tell them that i am from kharachi bt the issue is i just visited kharachi 2 times for a short period n cnt prove my roots in karachi. n most improtant my accent is lahori wchich is quite different from krachi accent which can create problem as i will speak with anyone in baluchistan, in such a way identity n showing my roots from kharachi becomes a secondary thing to reach at.

one of my very good frined sinse college days who is major in army and now psted in KHI told me that coastal highway is safe now as army is controlling these areas but resitance from locals specially for punjabi is beyond controll of army if i enter into some city except gawadar. furthermore he added people in Gawadar are changing now understanding that outsiders are blessing for them and for their well being but during the way from kHI to gawadar behavior of locals for punjabi is usually nt favorable. but if i show that i am from khi then all is fine even without a mere fear of anything.

now after reading ur views and discussion with other friends m getting confused that weather i should go or just should drop the idea bcz main reazn is i have no roots n knowledge to about KHI to prove that that I am from KHI and most imp is my Lahori accent which can be identified immediately.

i need more suggestions from u and from other PW freinds about this tour. so plz friends spare some time to contribute on this thread...

n plz tell me how to tag some one in thread

once again bro farhan and all other who are participating in this thread, a BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU

@farhan_khetran Jinab aap ko tau koi kitaab likhni chahiye...bohat hi dilchasp aur sabaq amoz kahani hai..

To me it all started with a minor mistake that you might ignored signboard, moreover caution from Levies and underestimation of this region, which
lead you to such a big trouble.

Well your story ended the tour & thread of @tariq.majeed before start ;-)

@farhan_khetran this is terrible and very much disappointed to hear your experience. it seems completely about sectism and your minor mistake doesn't matter at all as i believe these border forces know very well about the objective of visitors in that region. feeling really sorry!!

The thing is, people rely more on speculation. And punjabi element is towards elimination day by day and you are hearing it from a person living in Quetta.

Lets go in background before making any further statements.

I was born in Quetta, schooling from Quetta BS from lasbela and MS from Islamabad. Iam still in my hometown Quetta. My father is an army officer.

The introduction was necessary so that you can rely on my words more considerably as they are coming from a right person !!

    1. There's no such thing as Punjabi and bla bla bla. Its that element of superiority that people of Baluchistan hate. I myself treated 3-4 bikers here in Quetta from Punjab. But sadly after they go from Balochistan they start teaching us about places in Balochistan and telling us you havent seen Balochistan yet. Thats why i have stopped treating any more bikers from Punjab. I wont even meet them and offer them a cup of tea. Cuz they simply dont deserve it !!!

    2. Before you start commenting, you must know iam a punjabi too from Bahawalnagar region of Punjab.

    3. There are somethings that you should consider while travelling in Balochistan. * You should never hurt someone's ego. * Dont act to smart, people here are simple. * Dont travel at night * Dont be talkative * Just explore and enjoy no need to poke finger in someone else's business

    4. A biker in this particular thread was welcomed in Quetta, we provided hospitality also gave welcome dinner and made a small tour to a remote area, but sadly after crossing boundaries of Balochistan that particular person started telling me about areas in Balochistan and starting acting like he knows more than me. Punny though.

    5. I have visited every hostile region in Balochistan. And iam still alive, havent faced any criticism while travelling nor a subject of racism. It all depends on you act.

For more information you can visit out page: www.facebook.com/bnbikersnation and can see more in depth details about Baluchistan.

I am stating my first hand experience about Gawader. @Silver_Knife have you ever been to Gawader or beyond? May Allah keep you away from the kind of bitter experience I had; I can only say that.

I can't see any picture of Gawader in that. Please post some your pictures after Ormara turn and share your experience about Gawader. I remember once you said to me that you think area after Ormara is not that safe. do you remember?

I am trying to show you that how much "Alooms" are in this world. Something that was new for me too. Apparently the superstitious thing that they did to me started with a gas shell. When I was kept in 2nd building after 2 months, it had an open area covered by highwalls and Iranian "Sarbaz" were deployed on watch towers on the corners. They used to take us out of the cells in morning in open area for "Hawa khuri". There used to be Tilawat-e-Quran just like an assembly in the morning. I want to ask them "Cheh Islam allows you to treat a prisoner like that". There was a Qoul of Harzrat Ali(RA/AS/any word of respect/no word but respect in heart) written on the building's wall "Sarguzasht Khuslat-e-Mardan Ast". Once some of their soldiers(sarbaz) and some other came on the building top when we were walking in that open area in the morning time. One of them was carrying my camera(Canon Sx-5) and while opening out its LCD was showing like he is making the movie. From there they fired a gas shell targeting me which bursted at wall just near me and gas poured in my throat with breath intake. I felt like my breath has stopped in my throat. I rushed to nearby water tap they installed there for washing purposes(water of these areas is salty like karachi's and not drinkable). I drank that water that given some relief. Later a boy kept in my cell exclaimed "Eh sada is duniya tey dojha phera aye!". I want to ask "which Islam or even humanitarian rule/ethic allows you to do shelling on a prisoner which was in your custody". I have highly doubts that there was something in that gas as these evilest breed have alot of evil knowledge I persume. They used to show me TV channels in which some documentaries of their war against Saddam Hussain were shown that how their forces fought bravely in Khurramshahr near Iraq border. I want to tell them "I am brother of Saddam Hussain and Zia-ul-Haq and don't care what liberals think or say!". Sher ki aik din ki zindagi gedar ki sau saal ki zindagi se behtar hai.
It were you who started Cheh Islam: Sunni Ast or Shia Ast. Your people even don't forget their Shia indentity when they go on Hajj, how can I forget mine. Once I went to explore some Makkah. Don't remember exactly It was road infront of Bab-e-Abdulaziz or parallel to it but it was one of them. I taken that road by foot to explore some area of city. Kept walking and many Kubris(Flyover) passed by. There came some resturants like Al-Baik etc. I think I reached at some corner of Makkah when I realised that I should go back as I was getting late. There was some kind of bus stop there where two people were standing. After hello/Hi/Salam One of them swirled his hand meaning where am going. I said "Haram/Kaba". I was unaware of their nationality. They hinted that they are also going there and their bus is about to come. When their bus came they offered me to go with them in their bus. I thanked them and got on board. During the journey they told me in hint(as we were unaware of each other's language) that they are from "Mashhad Iran". They then asked pointing me "Shia/Sunni?". I was not in a mood to create some tention in the bus, I said "Kulu Muslim". But your country forced me to rethink on my stance.

Now I would want to show you about borders and would try my best to educate you, who are not aware with the borders. Mates what I have learned from my experience is that border is not a "picnic place". Border is a place at which something "Idhar se Udhar ya Udhar se Idhar" has to be done. That "thing" can be human being or something else and if you don't have to do that better don't go at borders. Border Officials, heard/seen in movies too are also not that pious(exceptions are always there), so better don't give them any chance. These border officials of neighboring countries are sometimes "friends" to each other too because they are Peti band brothers(If you ever heard the term). So for them, and in some cases for locals too, its a friendly(no hostile) area. But not for outsiders. Once a KSF(Khunjerab Security Force) Official told me that Chinese border offcials allow them to go by the neareast town of China to purchase some utility items as Sost is far away for them.
    I show you china border:
Invitition for Tour to Gawadar in this season -1636238

The Naka/Rod you seeing is from where the "friendly" area is starting. The gate in far background on which chinese is written is in China's jurisdiction. The white pillar some yards before the gate,on which Pakistan is written, on left side is where Pakistan area is ending. These border areas are so much sensitive that if your one feet is in Pakistan area and one in other's area and border officials of either country drag you tu jo apko khench lega ap us ke huey. Yeh aur baat hai keh Pakistan China ka dostana chal raha hai. But there are friendly fires on some borders too. I am not sure whats the length of that "Friendly/Transitionary" area. I think its 500 meters each on both sides(Countries). Any expert can tell better. Its always better/safe not to step into that transitionary area if you don't have intentions to cross the border. In my case, At Iran border, Rope fallen on ground was where this Naka/Rod is. Cars parked were where Pakistan board is. And you people even take your car upto that gate too I often seen in photos. So its sometimes Brother/not brother and Friendly/unfriendly too. Rules are always there in books. Its on implementers how they implement them and depends they have some humanity too or not.
PS: In the above example, there are boards placed of Pakistan & China which tell from where territory of a particular country starts because its a much developed/formal/used border. There is no such thing on Pak-Iran border at Gubd-Kalato, District Gawader. So you never know from where a particular country's area starts/ends and Levies deployed there whereas it should be some more professional force like Rangers or Makran Scouts.

bro @Silver knife ur suggestions are quite important.......... n i believe when a tourist visits any place he dose not hv an intention to challenge any local customs/norms/rituals cz he is not on war front where he can earn some medals after showing bravery so its expected local people will guide him about the area and themselves. yes its possible if a tourist unknowingly does some thing which is not desired and welcomed by local people, in such a situation locals should inform and guide that tourist about his undesired deed instead of considering his enemy and pretend to take revenge, by keeping in mind that an alone person who is far away from his home even unarmed cant afford any quarrel. bro tourists are unofficial peace ambassadress. M sure u will agree with me n guide me about my tour as u have an extensive experience.

Ask this from yourself and go if you find enough courage. Karachiites go regularly till princess of hope and some go to Ormara and very few go ahead Ormara. Better don't use Punjab number vehicle and better act on advises given by some people(Internet keh dunayie enjah Pehchan dost O dushman neest!) here. And believe in one thing that you are visiting your own country not someone else's. If they can come Punjab why can't we go there? Keep your belief, Allah's force is with one on right and if you just going for recreational purposes you are on right. Just read Ayat-ul-Kursi and make a "dum" and no one can even bend a hair of you.
