With help of local who is running hotel at "sadhu k bagh" and owner of land, came to know some really interesting secrets of Margala hills. In the ancient times, shah Allah ditta(small village, in west of Islamabad) was a big city and was orignal route of GT road, made by sher shah suri. Just crossing the village and start of Margala, there are caves, used by hindu, Muslims, sikh and Budhism follower for worship with a crystal clear water stream. Just 2km from caves, ban faqira stupa has been found and a mosque as well by 6 months working archeologists.
Stupa is 20 minutes hike away and mosque is 30 minutes, one sided. There is old water pond, used by resident of stupa
Stream is used by locals as drinking water and for watering of fields as well
Road from here (old g.t road) leaves towards sohawa village, with 4km off-road and joins kohala bala-tarnawa Road.
