LAHORE: The CNG filling stations had to be closed down again in Punjab as the gas pressure significantly went down after an hour of sale following the two-day closure of gas sale, Geo News reported Monday.
The CNG pumping stations were soon thronged with vehicles for filling, when the stations began their sale after two-day closure; but, before long, the gas pressure dwindled and the filling stations stopped filling gas worth over Rs100.
The consumers and the station crew were still locked in argument that gas died down completely; on this, the stations were closed again with notices of load management put up.
Meantime, the petrol consumption is on the rise causing the petrol pumps to run out of the fuel.
The consumers lashed out at the government which proposed resorting to petrol, saying the government should figure out some permanent solution for the problem; instead of suggesting to use petrol.
