You think that just because you have an exotic vehicle, you can do just about anything you want with it and not get reprimanded? Well, try having that attitude in London and let’s see how long it’ll take for you to eat your words.
In what is becoming a city where no exotic cars are safe, we have yet another exotic vehicle being given the yellow disc treatment in London. No word on why this Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead was clamped, but if you’ve been paying attention for the past few weeks or so, this is the third time that an exotic has found itself in trouble with the British police.
About a month ago, a similar clamping incident occurred with a Koenigsegg CCXR and a Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 Super Veloce with both exotics being given the clamped treatment. Then about a week ago, a pink Murcielago LP670-4 Super Veloce was stopped over by the police for revving on the streets. That’s right. Revving on the streets.
Now, we have this beautiful Rolls Royce Drophead getting the equivalent of being handcuffed.
It’s certainly a tough time to be an exotic car in London these days.
