HI GUYS , PLZ TELL THAT WHEN IN NORMAL DRIVING OF A 1.3 LANCER OR ANY OTHER 1.3 CAR, WHAT IS YOUR MAXIMUM RPM READING??????? ALSO SPECIALY TELL ABOUT WHEN THE CAR IS IN FIRST GEAR???/
Auto or manual??
for good fuel economy you shud shift at 3.5-4k rpm...
n for the grunt...hit the rev limiter!!
If you want to know what is the ideal rpm to shift gear, it's between 3000-3500 RPM.
But sometimes I like to take it right up to the redline at 6800 RPM in my 96 Civic. It's less boring
@ BILALTQ ITS MANUAL
@ ALLYES PLZ TELL ABOUT THE IDEAL RPM READING FOR GEAR SHIFT.
@picoit depends upon ur car ....
7000rpm on my accord 1987-88. i usually change gears between 3-4000rpm and in first gear it reaches a speed of 40km/h i think.
When the needle touches the red section on the tachometer. 6500-7000 rpm.
Yar depends on what you mean by idle.
Normally I never go above 3000rpm to keep fuel economy in check.
oh well i ususally shift at 2000 to 2500 max cause 3000 to 3500 that means lift offff
is going above 4 bad for the car engine?????
No.. going in to the red zone is bad for the car under that its normal.
Not bad for engine, bad for fuel economy ... my mileage drops below 7km/l if I push it hard all the way to 7000 at redline.
3500- 5000
