Nick looks like a neat deal
price is attractive
1.00 INR=1.61219 PKR 6,49,000 INR= 10,46,311 PKR
In PK Mkt, Optra Basic is selling around 11,50,000 ; So Again; indians are getting benifit of their competitive market. (Y)
it will have no sale in pakistan as Honda and toyota are rivals here.
Nice luking ride.Price seemz reasonable for dis.
bad deal because its not over here hence not beneficial to us
GM has failed to catch on in India and these price cuts are an attempt to snag buyers away from the run away success that is Maruti's Swift/DZire/ etc.
Anyway, this price is nothing spectacular if we're comparing it to Pakistan. Out of showroom this new price costs marginally less than Pakistan's old pricing scheme. If GM in Pakistan decides to lower it's price, like it has in India, then Pakistanis will come out ahead.
Another good er, 'bad' deal for Indian car buyers from GM(India). The Chevy Spark base model with a/c costs Rs2.80 lac OTR. GM(India) has seen a 51% rise in sales since March 2008(they sold 6386 cars in that month alone). They are increasing their market share and expanding their territory too. It is a vast country and it takes atleast ten years for a manufacturer to set up a network that can support high volume sales. Any new entrant has 3.1 million square kilometers of territory to conquer!.
The Spark is now Rs2.80 lac OTR
In response to a query. An ad from today's Times of India newspaper.
