Arrow Visit to Nissan showroom Sawan Camp 20-8-11

    AoA Pakwheelers,
After reading extensive reviews on this site and feedback from Sunny users of model 05 and above i planned to get one. So today i visit them and warmly greeted by
Mr. Shahid Mahmood Malik (sales representative)
Strangely i couldnt saw a single Sunny or any car present there . He told me that all car variants in current Sunny have been sold only one black
Sunny SS m/t 1.6 is available and that too somewhere in Karachi or Lahore and will cost me PKR 1450000. I was really amazed as i was always thinking that no one will buy sunny due to its low resale. but now i can see
the reality that people are opting for quality and saying no to BIG 3's. I like this positive change.
I also asked when will the new shape sunny expected to launch here and will it be the same as in India.
he said that shape will be little different as well as features but it will be here by end of 2012 and we have no price idea due to ever fluctuating local currency rate.

While adding power to your ride, upgrade the brakes first.

A SuperSaloon for 1450000, that's cheap for sure!
Can you please check the price for 1.8SS?

    Dear bro,
All Sunny variants of current shape are out of stock. 1.6SS LE (luxury edition) is close TO 1.55 million PKR. As far as i know there is no 1.8 variant.

We did have a 1.8 SS back in 2007. That was in Dubai though.

the 1.6SS is itself the luxury edition. There is none with the name luxury edition, the other one is the 1.6ExS which does not have ABS, wooden interior, Alloys etc

Sunny no doubt is a good option... but as i Know... Sunny 2005 isnt just beautifull... rather the latest internationally launched Sunny 2011 Model is uglier than this present model.. :s

    Sunny Specification
Brother, the LE version never came to pakistan...The specs on this website have probably been copied from nissan singapore website....I am saying this because i have a sunny 1.3, bought from nissan rawalpindi, i go regularly there for my car's service, and in the past four and a half years i have never seen the LE version, neither do they claim that they have it, they always said they had the ExS and the SS version. And you haven't probably seen any LE version on the road as well...

    Excuse me?

Have you seen the hollow plastic dashboards of Corolla's Cities and Civic's lately?

I'm waiting for the new Sunny to hit the showrooms in my neck of the woods as the new version looks odd in photos. I used to like the Sunny model till the mid 90s and then something went horribly wrong with the design ever since.

yaar here i've a difference of opinion may b right or wrong but its tru dat sunny's suspension doesn't match da civic standards but its comfortable enough 2ndly da suspension doesn't require work till 1.5lacs on da odo atleast in my 2-3 xperiences but yes da driving conditions n da guy behind da wheel does make a difference...3rdly da parts aren't expensive wen compared to genuine parts of honda n corolla infact dey'll b a lil cheaper dan dose...alternatives r always dere da non-genuine or da kabli parts r very cheap which makes da maintenance cheaper dan da crappy ondaz n rollaz...its jus a general misconception amongst da public dats it
