Brother any good mechanic will service the throttle body for Rs. 1,000/-.

12km/l is not bad for a 1.5L with auto.

Max you can get is 14km/l.

Clean the fuel injectors, spark coils, check spark plugs, clean/replace air filter and use a 50;50 HOBC mix.
All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.

@hasnain139 with throttle body cleaning there will not be much of a difference the fuel economy you wish get please disconnect / do not use aircon, drive with light foot and 13.5 is tops you can get in urban driving & 15 over the highway (long stretches)

please note that dont clean the throttle body until you had the expert diagnostic tool with you because after cleaning you had to calibrate the throttle learning procedure for the idle stabilization... which city you are

Throttle body would not help because it has little to do with fuel economy. Make sure your air filter is not clogged. It is the only thing that is in direct relation with economy otherwise its ECU who is incharge of adjusting Air to Fuel Ratio. It tries to keep it to certain level

I think driving style is the most important thing.
