    Default Nissan Sunny 2013 N17 ?

    Hello all,
    I am in gulf and I bought Nissan Sunny 2013 n17,
    Its called Nissan Almera also and Engine is HR15DE,


    Problem with car is that when car gets hot like driving for half hour then it loose power ... and sometime sometime RPM starts tickling when idle ... I feel gas smell also ... so sometimes I press accelerator rapidly to get more speed. Some people said it is fuel pump and some said injectors and some said ignition coil.


    My mind say its ignition coil but I cant check them because they are under manifold.


    I connected obd2 bluetooth adaptor to see some data at my android but couldnt get any reading ... ECU shows two addresses 7E8 and 7E9 ... 7E8 shows nothing no response but 7E9 shows only these => ECU name Transmission, RPM, Engine Coolant Temperature, volts, Throttle position relative and position B,


    So how can I diagnose coils or fuel pump,
    or how can I get readings from ecu for misfire.

    Thanks for suggestions.
    For coils I wanted to check them so badly but they are under manifold ... not easy.
    1 month back I changed genuine platinum iridium spark plugs for 6000 rupees, mechanic took 3000 but it didn't solve anything.
    last week mechanic cleaned throttle body and adjusted throttle which made little difference for just one day ... he took his 3000 ... then I put 2 bottles of injector cleaner in the tank ... filled the tank with super 98 ... today emptied it but problem is still there ... now even more that when RPM touches 2000 mark then I hear sound from engine like some bearing ... so I press pedal more to quickly pass it thru ... it has no problem at high RPM and it has no problem if I put it in neutral gear ... anyhow my next target is fuel pump but I should replace complete pump with assembly or motor only ... complete one genuine cost me about 18000 rupees and motor cost me 2000 rupees ... or I get complete one from scrap ... if my obd reader is correct then fuel temperature sensor is maybe bad too for which I have posted green screenshot earlier ... I heard filter/sock is most important in fuel pump ... I wish I can put Toyota sock with that one.
    Which way is better?

    Where are u from @Sincere007, the irradium plugs are not that much expensive in Pakistan. I also put the same last month and it only costs me 3200Rs for plugs and mechanic took nothing except the old plugs.

    Yes the filter/sock is the main thing in fuel pump. If it gets choked the pump also not able to work properly. First open it and check the filter if it seems like soaked or stretched just replace it and check.

    I live in Kuwait with RHD vehicles,

    So after pulling all pump out ... I must have replacement parts in hand or atleast diagnosing method to know which part is faulty,
    What should I do? What if its fuel pressure regulator?

    Today mechanic put new fuel pump motor and old one don't have filter inside it ... surprised to see that ... anyways problem escalated ... even its making more problem ... car not starting easily ... hesitation while driving .... engine is making more sound at 2000RPM ... and it is running more lazy ... => it all started 2 months back with gas smell inside cabin and jerking RPM when I drive for 1 or 2 hours and stop at red signal, I quickly put at Neutral gear to avoid shutting down ... now what ... FPR or coils or injectors ... maybe new pump strainer is not stock round and mechanic bent forced it to push it inside round bracket

    reading for "A/F ratio Adj" is now showing high 20% after pump replacement ... before when they cleaned throttle body then it was showing 2% which was improvement ... but when it has problem then it shows 5% or -2% ... when it runs fine at morning startup then it shows 0% ... so I feel I had to make this zero

    I went to the mechanic again and luckily this time he put other helper to pull fuel pump out,
    After pulling out we can see clearly broken pipe above fuel pump ... Alhamdulilah pump and filter was good and I didnt paid anything today ... everything looks fine now ... but I must spend sometime at office now ... will make long drive today to see if original power-loss problem is there or its gone ... I am very hopeful that all these troubles ends today with final diagnosis of broken black pipe of fuel sender ... one small leak.

    Unfortunately it was all transmission,
    After checking with proper obd2 reader ... following is the list of many codes returned by TCM,
    although I changed transmission oil which was burned black,
    automatic Transmission Transaxle model number is RE4F03C

    P062F Internal Control Module EEPROM Error

    Now thats what I beleive is the right way, but here in Pakistan most of the people like hit & trial which is not the right way.
    These codes will be helpful for others to know their car problems.

    your wiring has some grounding faults, you see all those loss of communication faults there, they only happen when your system shuts down half way (loss of power or ground or water intrusion in wiring)

    All the Torque converter clutch, shift timing error, target gear not achieved can be low ATF level or simply input or output speed sensor signal noise/loss/muddle.

    You did the right thing and pulled the codes, you should have further pulled the freeze frame data to "see" what was going on when the codes popped.
