    Hi all,
Count me in. Although I dont own a sunny now, but kept for 6 years in the past i.e., B11 from 2003~2006 and B12 from 2006~2009. I am a great fan of Sunny and again now searching for an excellent B13 genuine diesel or enven in petrol (NO CNG). Will love to keep it as a third car only as a show piece. If some one comes to know about an excellent 1993 B13 then do tell me.
    Regards

Thread seems to be dead! I need some advice from any Nissan sunny owners. What are pros and cons of 2005 onward models? Parts availability and CNG performance....any help especially from Nissan sunny owners will be highly appreciated

Bro you seem like a true die hard nissan sunny fan and you posses a great collection...I am planning to buy one 2005/6 model. I have a few questions and will highly appreciate your input:

    1) Are the 05/06 nissan sunny models common in Pak, Japan assembled or Gandhara assembled?
    2) What is the compatibility with CNG for manual models?
    3) What is the status of parts and their prices in comparison with toyota and honda parts?
    4) What is the fuel consumption? (petrol & CNG)

    waiting for your reply.

I dont know much about 2005 onward models, But I must say that parts availibility is not an issue in big cities. Resale value is lesser in newer models but if u want to keep it for long time then Sunny is the best value for money with full options. You can also buy Pak assembled model 2009~2012 with 1600 CC Engine. 1300 CC variant was available in imported models (2005 ~ 2008).

what about CNG performance and most importantly can the car sustain a long drive from Karachi to Rawalpindi, once every 6 months...I am looking for a 2005/06 model 1.6 or 1.3. Any Input bro?

Nissan Sunny in my opinion is the best value for money alongside Mitsubishi Lancer. People in Pakistan are extremely compromising when it comes to cars. During my search for Lancer/ Nissan Sunny my friends have advised me "Indus Corolla Le lo bhai". It amazes me really! Plus resale will not save me in an accident nor would it give me any luxury!

Brother! I hate CNG. So, no inputs in this regard. About travelling from kci to rwp, I think there wont be an issue with such a sedan, if driven carefully.

2001 ~ 2003 Sunny (BMW shape) is also good but if you have budget, then try to find newer models. This old shape is available mostly in diesel CD-20 (2.0D FE Saloon). Few petrol variants are also available but hard to find genuine petrol ones (1400 CC EGi). Diesel to petrol converted are not recommended as the swap in Pak is done through JUGAR methods by Ustaads normally until someone uses his own knowledge for proper swaps.

2005. The thing is, buying an old car will need your attention to details. Any car thats used will havto be checked for any repairs or damages. You can reduce the risk of a damaged car by opting for a new model.

That in mind, the 2005 is a better car compared to the b14....

owners can comment well on consumption but on average it may be around 12~13 within city and 15~16 on highways.
