NO licence requirement, though do you know what you're getting yourself into? Have you any previous experience with birds of prey? How do you plan to train it? What breed are you looking for? Many factors depend on the price, plus, if you have no prior experience with birds of prey, I suggest don't bother buying one, because you'll either end up training it wrong and probably might set it free, and by that point it will NOT be able to hunt for its own food.
I would rather suggest you to get a cat or a dog because comparatively they're easy to rear.
Plus like all birds its meant to be free, not to be raised in captivity.
