You need to diversify your investments. Keep an eye on funds as well. I once had a detailed discussion with funds manager from meezan. Their charges were minimal and back then return was good.
Don't go for specific insurance plans. I mean you can get insurance for yourself but dont buy these educational plans so on and so forth. From what i can recall, NSS - National savings scheme is still offering the percentage not matched by any bank or insurance companies. Invest in NSS. They have different products. Some for 6 monthly return some for 10 years so on and so forth. If e.g. you are concerned about higher education of your children, you can buy a 10 year plan and simply forget about it.
Dont get involved in any property scams. you cant find anything for 200,000. Dont even think of sharing a property investment with someone. it will only increase your troubles.
