The thing that fascinates me is that how can one stick to his ignorance once he has been rectified. There is a thing called google and there is a thing called wikipedia so FYI
Nexus S - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
and I'm quoting the relevant parts
"The Super AMOLED version of the phone is the GT-I9020 and it is based on the Samsung Galaxy S hardware, the principal hardware differences being the absence of support for an SD card and the addition of a near field chip. The alternate SC-LCD (Super Clear LCD) version of the phone is the GT-I9023 which is meant for the European (non-UK) market."

And if you still require more knowledge than head over to xda Samsung Nexus S - xda-developers
I9020 and I9020T are same and "ARE NOT CARRIER BOUNDED (i.e. no approval required of any sorts)" and was the first variant ever released by Google. I know it because i ordered it on the very same day it was released in US. The other US GSM variant is I9020A (the AT&T) version which was relased later.
It's in no way to offend you or any thing. I just wanted to rectify you. Cheers!!!
