you know there is a rule in cryptography that "every encryption can and will get broken, its all depends on time"
i can give you several every day life examples of security encryptions which are jokes, but they are still being used because it is very difficult to upgrade to a better technique......DES encryption is still being used today but its not safe.
i do admit that wpa2 is highly secure than WEP.....but still its breakable.........
i did came across a research paper which does give a technique for breaking it.........and it was a success............
on the subject of breaking codes, there is also a new tech being developed called quantum computers which will surely break even complicated encryption in very less time....do search about them too........it is a very vast and interesting field......
anyways about theory and practical...... there is a difference but if you consider all the variables, theories will be put into practice without any hassle....
