I have traveled many times on motorway, Lahore to Islamabad and back many, many times but I haven't, yet, driven on motorway by myself. So, I will be wasting fuel on this long drive by driving from Lahore to Islamabad and back the same day!. May call my cousin to come have with me lunch at savor. Shami kabab and rice. :D
1: What, if any, documents do I need?.
2a: Cost of Petrol from Lahore to Islamabad?.
2b: Cost of CNG from Lahore to Islamabad?.
3: Do they ask for license?. I dont have one. I do have an expired learning license.
4: I have heard that CNG is available on motorway everyday of the week. True?.
Car: Cultus 2005. Fuel of choice, CNG!.
I know about the speed limit and will be adhering to it. So no worries there.
The fact that with A/C on, my car doesn't go above ~120 on 4th gear.
Time of choice: Departure 4AM and be back in Lahore till 6-7PM.
As for date, I am planning to do this in July. Start of it. Previously I thought of any day between Thursday and Sunday or 4th till 7th July. I wont be delaying it further though. Can do it on 1st, 2nd or 3rd if CNG is actually available.
