Default Makeover of a Fiat Uno

I have a FIAT UNO with, the perfect body and a blown out diesel engine at my disposal. I love the car too much to let it go. If any1's driven it, they should know the grip the car has on the road when racing. I have 100K to spend.

    1. Please "experts" suggest a high performance engine I can put in for this car. Please not that I plan to take the car in a rally in distant future.

    2. And if the "experts" can refer me to a place, where I can get this done, I'd be obliged. I do plan to go to Singapore in a week. If the "experts" think I should get hold of an engine from there, please advice.

    Thanking the "experts" in advance.
I'm hittin' the road. Maybe I'll drop you a line some day from wherever I wind up in this crazy old world.

we had fiat uno and converted it to toyota engine. i totally agree that the car has an awesome grip, drive and pick up and is very comfortable and spacious. the engine swap worked fine with us and the new owner is also very happy with it.

Hi Atif, The temperature gauge is okay. I had it callibrated, I don't rem how. I had been only driving this car in the winters (Oct-Dec 08). Even then I had some temperature shoot ups, once or twice, in traffic jams. Next time I am around & I have time, I will get this fixed. But I know what you mean, there are some problems.

    Cheers,
    Ali
