Engine require 90 C for running efficiently ..
But direct fan cool engine even at 0 C .. So its very very harmful ... decrease your engine life approx 1/3

It is told by experts to heatup the engine a lil bit in cold days before running it and u r using a direct fan car in cold days this will break ur engine very soon
keep the fan automatic and heatup ur car in the morning before driving or atleast drive it with very light foot while its cold
Can,t think of a better signature

Engine oil has to reach its optimum temperature to start working properly, most engine wear occurs on cold start ups and short journeys, connecting the fan direct and running the engine to cool doesnt help the oil warm up, in the hot temperatures increased oil tempertures will cause the oil to break down in viscosity ,evaporate and burn away, connect it direct only in hot temperatures.

Even its hot weather I do not suggest anyone to make the car radiator fan direct and also never remove the thermostat valve from the engine cooling system as it is as important as the first one. If you are facing engine overheating problem then there are some other reasons for it. By making the radiator fan direct as well removing coolant thermostat valve has an adverse effect on engine performance and its useful life. It is like taking pain killer medicine and not correcting the real root cause of pain in your body which may lead to serious consequences.
