    @spectra

    no .. it just needed a service.. to improve the airflow and cooling..

    13 years of dust n dirt.. was enough to block the coil.. and the filter..
    although the airconditioning was still working acceptable well.. but i want it to be in perfect condition..

    it is a huge task which is being carreid out in the workshop...

    It sure is a huge task. Best of luck.
    European cars have this drawback for sure. The makers dont feel a need to think about the porr mechanic who has to open things again

    there was a foam type filter in front of the coil, which was totally blocked by dust n dirt... .

    plus the front 2 shocks are being done as well...

    had to sacrifice the airconditioning gas..
    will have to get it refilled tommorow

    What about your U-Know? How much it costed you that day?......Is the HVAC system in it's full swing or not?

    @Hash

    so you are also one of the Affectees of these mechanics . They often put some local 'Kharr Pechay' instead of the genuine ones if someone stresses them to install the bolts

    i am in my office right now.. and the work will finish in about 2 hours.. and i will go to collect the car..

    about leaving screws.. and not bothering to put them back... well this does not happens in the peugoet workshop.. specially with my car...

    the only thing which i am worried about.. and which the mechanic was worried about..is getting something cracked...

    the dashboard is very delicate.. as it is made of hard plastic.. 'masala type'...

    no body puts his hand to a peugeot dashboard..except the experts.. otherwise they will 200% break many delicate clips n pieces...

    these guys removed the dashboard from the car in 1 hour...and in 2 hours the separated the heater matrix.. the blower.. the coil.. the speedometer and started the cleaning process...

    well obviously the putting back process is quite lengthy... about 4 -5 hours...after servicing...

    i have my fingers crossed...hoping for all to go very well... i could not hav had more expert people doing the job....
    wish me luck

    whether you have faith in the workshop guy or not, but the fact is that his "shagird" will sneak away with some genuine nuts and bolts, later to sell or give it to their regular customers who always give them a little bit of tip for tea and cigerattes. And man you had left the car on their disposal. Allah Khair karay.
    The End.
