    Default Daewoo Racer/Cielo Fan Club

    Dear All,

I am an owner of Daewoo Racer since 1995. It has proven to be a very comfortable and economical car throughout this period. It used to give an average of 13Km/L within city and ~15Km/L on long drives. Here are some pictures:

I would recommend buying this car who want a better car at low budgets!

Any member having used a Daewoo car must share their experience....(y)

    Aslam-O-Alikum to all Daewoo owners.

I need some information about Daewoo car AC.
I have Daewoo Racer 2001 registered from last four years and I am satisfied.
The AC is not working for last 3 years due to Compressor problem.
Now I want to install new Compressor but I have some confusion because the engine of my car is 50% week.
Can anybody tell me if I install the compressor what it effect on engine.

Ya Daewoo's kabli compressor is not recommended by daewoo experts. mostly recommend new sandan compressor (Price almost 9000/-) and with installation cost almost 14-15k,
from where u purchased sandan kabli compressor and got installed? how much total cost. coz i am also planning to install sandan compressor.

    Hi All,

    Hope everyone is well,

I'm facing following problems regarding my woo, hoping anyone would be able to guide me in right direction.

1- When my woo is in idle state its engine starts making too much noise but when it is moving I don't experience too much noise
2- speed meter of my woo has stopped working. It does not show any progress regarding speed
3- When my woo is moving I frequently hear voices like "char char char". I suppose it's from silencer or might be when woo's hand break strike with the silencer
4- I want to confirm that my woo's thermo meter is showing accurate temperature. When A.C is working it reaches at a lever more then 60 %
5- After I changed the oil a week before, in the morning when I first time start my woo it's silencer discharges too much smoke but afterwards it's OK.

    Regards
    Kamran

I live in Rawalpindi. Initially there was vibration problem when my woo's AC was working. Then I visited Sarfraz at G-10 who changed IAC valve and distributor. Then this problem was resolved. As far as radiator is concerned it reduces some water after a week or ten days.

its mean ur radiator is working well. there might be problem in temp guage which shows more temperature than actual temperature. visit Mian Khan , Daewoo specialist , tipu road, opp PSO Petrol pump near fuji tower.
