    Default Daewoo Racer/Cielo Fan Club

    Dear All,

I am an owner of Daewoo Racer since 1995. It has proven to be a very comfortable and economical car throughout this period. It used to give an average of 13Km/L within city and ~15Km/L on long drives. Here are some pictures:

I would recommend buying this car who want a better car at low budgets!

Any member having used a Daewoo car must share their experience....(y)

Bro, you are mistaken. It wasent me who answered your question. It was our GURU, the testdriver. so thank him. As far as your question goes, i have no idea about either the cost or the performance of STAP 56. Someone else might be able to answer you.

    @all:

recentlky i have replaced my woo radiator. Bought form Bilal Gunj for Rs 4000. initially he asked for RS 5K.
Now temperature does not cross white area with AC on within the city.
So after a long time, temperature problem is resolved.
There was another problem with temp gauge, it was showing higher reading. SO electrition used a short cut and inserted a resistance wire with the heat gauge and its fine now.

    @all:

Recently i have purchased new carpet for the car boot/diggi.
Carpet is of Olympia company and was altered according to the size of boot.
It covers the whole boot area including the CNG cylinder as well.
Edges of the Carpet were also overlocked which really gave it very nice look.

Cost was really very reasonable. Rs 400/- only.

I faced the same problem since last year.
Temperature used to be at mid level with AC on and within city. pick used to be dead at this temp level and engine consumed much more CNG. ON long route it was fine. Fan was direct.

This year, following tasks were performed now temp is working fine:
    1. Daewoo genuine compressor was replaced with the new Sanden 507 which has very less load on engine.
    2. Condensor fan was replaced with the bigger one.
    3. relay was installed with the Radiator and condensor fan.
    4. radiator has to be replaced as old one was weak and repaired.
    5. Heat gauge was checked to know its correct working.

Now after above tasks, temp sui does not cross white area.

So if radiator fan is direct and condensor has seprate fan, then temp should not cross white area within city.
If it cross white area, then what is the use of direct fan???
IBD and RWP have less sumemr heat as comapre to lahore so car temp should also be lesser.

According to Pak wheel knowledge base and my practical experience, with direct fan, temp should be 25% of the total temp reading.

If you close heater and inlet of fresh air, then AC cooling shall be enhanced greatly and compressor load on engine shall be decreased due to effective compressor working.

shah jee , my AC cooling is well but on traffic jamming when car is on idle state , Cooling become dead. May be its due to heater connection , shud i block the heater.
is there any way to improve blower air throw like power relay fitting with blower fan.

    1. Cooling reduction at traffic jams or red signals is a common phenomina, most commonly in used/kabli compressors. In case of new compressors, like in my case, this reduction also exists but with very less ratio.
Closure of heater and blockage of fresh air inlet will definitely enhance the cooling both at running and stoppages.
Last year i was astonished to see the impact of 'fresh air blockage' on cooling, it was really doubled.

    2. Did you get AC cooling coil cleaned during your car' s recent AC service?. Such cleansing enhnaces the air throw. i experienced it when i owned my previous ride Baleno.
However no knowledge/feedback about effect of installation of relay with blower fan.

Actually i was comparing these issue with my Ex ride khyber and brother's ride civic 95. in khyber when ride was idle , cooling feels better than running , and civic air throw is awesome so i am confusing about my daewoo's current AC performance.
i will consult with my electrition regarding installation of power relay with blower fan and will share here.

    Dear Test Driver

    1. How we can stop the fresh air to enter in the car while using AC

    2. How we can enhance the performance of the circulation of the air (accerelic) inside the car while using AC (As persons sitting on the back seat feel very low cooling) so that the inside air of the car revolving in a circle for better cooling effects.

    Dear Asad,

Thanks foar the reply,I have also installed the relay on the blowe whcich work on the fan speed at no 4 button(But i dont know weather its a power relay or not, wats the difference between these two) and blocked the heater pipes.

My point of concern is the sucking of the air by blower is very poor, In cars Liuke Honda the blower sucks the air under the dash board very quickly( it can be seen by liting a cigerete and placing it under the dash board and one can see easily that the smoke is going towards the bnlower very quickly) but in case of WOO its not working upto the mark, so how we can increase the sucking the inside air of the car. Believe if we can fix this problem the cooling will become very awesome.

nahi bro, air throw ki baat nahi kar rahaa,

achaa pp mujay yeh btaoo ke blower khan se hwaa laita hai, gari ke andar wali hwa blower suck karta hai and recycle it and then the air forwarded to cooling coil and then finally it comes throgh the air windows located on the dash board.

agar blower gari ke ander wali hawaa taizee se khainchay ga (suck) and forward it to the coiling coil more powerfullu then the cooling will be incresed upto a maximum level)
    '
so my question is that how we can increse the circulation ofthe cool air thrugh blower, you got it or not!!!!!

circulation is depend upon blower's fan speed , fast speed leads to fast circulation and better AC performance. r u satisfied with Blower Air throw?
just sit on back seat and feel air comes from AC windows (in Dashboard) is it touches ur face or weaker.
