    Default Daewoo Racer/Cielo Fan Club

    Dear All,

I am an owner of Daewoo Racer since 1995. It has proven to be a very comfortable and economical car throughout this period. It used to give an average of 13Km/L within city and ~15Km/L on long drives. Here are some pictures:

Check the links for my rides
    1. Before 2008 (Racer)
    Daewoo Racer
    2. After Jan 2008 (Cielo)
    Daewoo Cielo

I would recommend buying this car who want a better car at low budgets!

Any member having used a Daewoo car must share their experience....(y)

Usually when the AC is switched ON, it is quite normal that the engine temperature rises, still if you feel overheating, then radiator seems to have some problem probably some tubes are blocked within it.

    Hope you got your answer.
Someone also advised me to flush out the whole AC unit and condenser as AC compressor leakage might cause the AC condenser not to work properly.

I also congratulate you on the double century of this forum. It is indeed a great source of info for any Daewoo lover

My engine temperature is remain almost same (at white area) with or without AC ,
    REASON:
1-when i run my car without AC , there is no additional load on engine , so Radiator fan keeps engine temperature as low.
2-when i switch on AC , there is additional load on engine so technically it should heatup, so AC condenser fan also starts with AC (2 Fan running at the same time , Radiator and condenser fan) but still engine temperature should rise as compare to AC off. but i got installed another additional fan with AC condenser , so at the same time three fans run which keep the engine temperature at white level. so there is no Radiator water reduction issue.
3-So additional fan is also capable for excellent AC's cooling , although traffic jamming under direct sun in rwp disturbs the AC's cooling (coz car RPM remains at 700 rpm in idling) but engine temperature remains almost low.

I'm sure my AC compressor is constantly running
I also congratulate you on the 2nd century of this forum. Indeed you are a very Worthy contributor on this forum.

Thumbs up Found a real Loshey Programm for PC Based Scanner

    Aslamualaikum to all Brothers

Our PC based scanning tool is ready! Have a look at the snapshots

    Daewoo fan club -243280

Dashboard View of the Scan tool while the vehicle is running at 33 mph

    Daewoo fan club -243283

Engine values under idle conditions with AC 'off'

    Daewoo fan club -243284

Engine values with AC 'on' , note the difference in IAC values

    Daewoo fan club -243285

Voltage levels of sensors during idle running

If any body is interested, I would like to post further details as well. Anyways our "Project # 1" is at final stages. Last few milestones left are:-
    a) Active involvement with Daewoo Racers ECM by changing its parameters while the engine is running to test its actuators.
    b) To dump the ECMs memory on PC.
    c) To permanently change the engine performance parameters (trickiest job)

Plz help me all in doing so. Enjoy this gift for the 200th page.

    Sorry for the late reply.

Please elaborate "not working properly". Do they 'jam' or 'frees up'? Which servo you have installed? Did the mechanic changed the brake geometry (Diagonal to Straight)?

If your TBI is working perfectly, don't go for the 4 injector (MPFI) manifold. You have to replace the ECM along with routing three more wires for Oxygen sensor and IAT from your existing wiring. Then you have to source Oxygen sensor to get perfect tune. In return you will get lower engine noise by 10% thanks to the resonator.

They neither jam nor free up, the car is moves diagonally when brakes are applied, the Corolla servo is being used perhaps...

By design the Daewoo Racer brake geometry is diagonal. The front right wheel and the rear left wheel are engaged first and then the front left and rear right wheel, thanks to the brake proportionate valve designed to work seamlessly according to the brake geometry. When the master cylinder is changed (off some other make car), the geometry also needs to be changed (since the other master cylinder is designed for straight brake geometry) otherwise the car will tend to move towards right/left during braking.

Congrats for the purchase! Daewoo engine is 1500cc btw

If someone has installed a carburetor, he must have altered the intake manifold. If that's the case, just buy a complete kabli intake manifold with sensors. Is the ECM also removed? If yes, buy ECM with engine wiring.

Congrats for the purchase! Daewoo engine is 1500cc btw

If someone has installed a carburetor, he must have altered the intake manifold. If that's the case, just buy a complete kabli intake manifold with sensors. Is the ECM also removed? If yes, buy ECM with engine wiring.
thanks ECM is there but i think its not working right now because the carborator is changed so waqar has checked the wiring he says that it is repairable he will do it let him fix all the issue then i will acknowledge and i will also upload the snaps of my car.only i have to purchase is the carborator and air cleaner assembly.
