    Default Daewoo Racer/Cielo Fan Club

    Dear All,

    I am an owner of Daewoo Racer since 1995. It has proven to be a very comfortable and economical car throughout this period. It used to give an average of 13Km/L within city and ~15Km/L on long drives. Here are some pictures:

    I would recommend buying this car who want a better car at low budgets!

    Any member having used a Daewoo car must share their experience....(y)

    Bro not an expert but I think you should check the head gasket it might have gone. Is your engine giving smoke or losing engine oil?

    bro direct connection of radiator fan is, when you start your vehical fan starts. But if your its automatic (which comes in stock) then it'll start once your car is heated (almost in muddly of gauge). Near or below half of gauge is not a big problem in this weather if its direct I think so. But mine don't usually go above white in direct mode unless stuck in traffic or really hot temperature.

    Going over hundred might be an issue with cng setting. Get it done and then check it. If it doesnot work. Then go for general tunning. If problem persists please post we might find a solution :-)

    sorry have been busy, try using my email if i dont answer your queries on pakwheels

    As for your problem,it is due to poor quality wiring as the fan is not getting required amperes and thus its revolutions are lower than required. Change fan wires to high ampere good quality wires. Install cut out for the radiator fan. Teperature needle in white zone indicates normal operation(almost Half) if temp rises above this then there is an issue with vehicle cooling system and it needs to be checked.

    @ all
    Kindly read my previous posts for detailed answers to your questions/querries

    @psykosonik
    Sorry cant answer your query as my vehicle is being run on Petrol since i got its delivery in 1995.

    @baryar
    price seems to be reasonable but i will advise you to visit sultan tha kooh for confimation of price but let the mechanic buy the part and install it for you as he will give you some guarantee.

    @asad_scorpio21
    I forgot to answer your query in my last post, well daewoo has independent suspension system on the rear end.(The shocks and springs are installed appart),same system used in our present Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic from 2002. Furthermore, the shocks installed in daewoo are soft type that drive is smoother and better whereas in most of Pakistan assembled vehicles the suspension type used is hard. Soft suspension provides better comfortable drive but its life span is shorter whereas hard type shocks provide a little rough ride but ists life span is longer. Hard type shocks are usally used in Pakistan due to our present road conditions.
