    Default Daewoo Racer/Cielo Fan Club

    Dear All,

    I am an owner of Daewoo Racer since 1995. It has proven to be a very comfortable and economical car throughout this period. It used to give an average of 13Km/L within city and ~15Km/L on long drives. Here are some pictures:

    I would recommend buying this car who want a better car at low budgets!

    Any member having used a Daewoo car must share their experience....(y)

    Multi tip plugs definitely improve combustion by providing the optimum spark through one of it's tip having minimal resistance path. Better combustion means better power and improved mileage.

    This also holds true for a Daewoo.

    Any particular brand suggested for a two tip plug that matches the engine heat range of daewoo?

    In case you haven't tested out one, can you tell me the engine heat range of stock daewoo engine so that I can find a match?

    Koito 90/100W costs around Rs.200/= each.

    NGK (BPR6EY) iridium plugs are better.
    BPR6EY is the code.

    Yesterday, I spotted a Daewoo Esparo, (hatch back, Red color) near Khanna Bridge, first time in my life!

    But unfortunatly, I didn't have Cam at that time, so no Pics!!!

    The Number plate showed that the car wasn't imported in 2004-2006 session.

    But it seemed like an embassy auctioned one!

    Hi everybdy.
    Hope everyone will be fine.
    I have got a daewoo racer, 93 model for me , registered 97.
    I have a question . My daewoo has non-EFI Landyrenzo CNG kit. Can i convert this kit to EFI? If yes from where and how much cost?
    Secondly radiator FAN is direct. The previous owner of car told me that the automatic sensor for FAN is faulty? hats the solution for this? From where and how much cost?

    Thx. everybdy. bye

    aoa everybody

    wanted to share my experience about engine foundation. one of it was broken so i decided to change it. mech. replaced it with newer one (saying its orignal Rs. 600) but after that there were spine shaking vibrations. so changed again the foundation- this time real genuine one(Rs 1100). and now its good.

    so my advise: use original engine foundations

    regards

    @PrinceSultan

    Espero or Cielo Hatch? What was the color??? Maroon?

    @tonton16

    freon R-12

    @kausargul

    If you have an electronic kit, then you just need to change the CNG switch to EFi one and install an emulator. It will cost around Rs.3500/= and you don't need to change the regulator.

    @kashmir1

    (y)...Not only foundation but always use genuine parts. They cost more but no compromise on quality.

    R-134 is different from R-12. Brand is not important, you can use any available brand provided it is R-12. It will be better to get your A/C serviced and gas/oil filled by a professional.

    Sadly new headlights for the GTi are not available in Pakistan, but you can get Kabli one and their lighting is still not good (n). If your GTi's head lights are just blur, try getting it buffed...or if you want better lighting, you can put HID in fog lights!
