@kashmir1Go to Federal automobiles, and purchase a second hand qabli one.If you purchase a new one the total cost with installation and gas charges is around Rs.18000/-.If you go for Qabli one with installation & gas charges is around Rs.8000/-These prices are some 8 months old when my friends Daewoo Racer
s A/C compressor got jammed and he got it replaced by qabli one from Federal Automobiles Phone no 051-4443594.
Main reason for jamming of the compressor is that it generates a lot of heat while functioning and air flow to it is less(Normal sedan,Honda & Toyota, compressors work on principle of vacuum via single valve piston aquiring compression whereas Daewoo racer
s compressor has five cylinder blocks comprising of pistons which move up and down to compress gas individually(same design priciple as compressors used in domestic designed A/C units for Home & commercial Use).Benefit over other compressor is that even after usage for 5 -8 years its cooling capacity remains same whereas other type compressor losses its cooling capacity by 20-40% as vacuum pressure valve becomes weak).Secodly using compressor with low or no gas damages it.
Install a Cutout worth Rs.200/- with your A/C clutch so that it should recieve full current to engage and thus reduces chance of tripping of clutch usually which ends up in A/C Clutch damage and finally leads to its jamming.
Intall an extra fan with cutout worth Rs.1000/- so that it should enhance your cooling and provide air to compressor.
While buying second hand compressor, check that compressor has no leakage after providing it check pressure. All Wire connections are connected properly to compressor and that he has not placed wire in between jumper connectors of compressor while connecting it to the compressor(this denotes that one of the switches located in the compressor is faulty(There are two jacks located on the compressor
s back facing Lt wheel--1 is to turn the A/C On and one to recognize A/C Gas pressure, type of safety valve, this also turns the fan On).Mostly compresser starts and trips so they put a wire in between the safety switch jack,so that the system gets a message that all is fine and A/C is turned on with the Fan(Cause can be faulty switch which can be replaced without opening compressor or the jack is not properly locked in place).Sometimes even after confirming every thing is in working order, the compressor still trips. In this condition, mostly it can be due to vacuum/pressure switch located in the compressor which can be removed without opening the compressor. If this is the problem then ask him to replace the compressor as mostly this is a compressor which got jammed and has been repaired by them or by the Sultan Ka Kaah dealers. Check AC clutch sound after installation and the piston sleeve damage sound which can be haerd by taking vehicle RPM from 1000-4000.It is type of ticking sound as two steel objects are hitting each other. If heard, for confirmation remove A/c belt and repeat procedure, the sound will be absent if its the Compressor sound. For sound removal,if a/c clutch,it can be changed with other one but if still persists after clutch replaced then it is the compressor piston sleeves and you should immediatly get the compressor placed.Mechanics will dodge you by saying this is normal but you can confirm by testing a normal vehicle.
You should before going for second hand compressor already talk about these terms of replacement of compressor if problem is found during installation.

My car brakes are fine, only should be careful on hilly areas while coming down try to give rest to brakes during braking by apllying a hard brake and then letting the car move down hill without providing acceleration, if still too fast then place vehicle in 1st gear or if needed turn your vehicle A/C.(For Steep Hills).you can judge the car brakes heating up by feeling the brake pedal becoming hard.If so apply above procedure or stop vehicle for 15min.(Do not place water over wheels as this damages your disc rotors--defaces them and mostly cracks & hardens the discpads). The gear used for coming downhill is judged by you at the time of decent.Mostly it is the gear you use to go up hill on that region but may vary for Daewoo. After mild heatup of disc pads it is recommended that you get your front disc calipers serviced and lubricated.
My vehicle brakes work like a toyota at any speed. What you need to do:-
1.Change Front Disc Rotors(Around Rs.2200/-)
2.Change Rear Disc Drums(Around Rs.2400/-)
3.Front Disc Pads Geniune(Around Rs.1400/-)
4.Rear Disc Leathers Geniune(Around Rs. 700/-)
5.Check & Lubricate all brake calipers.

You can install 5 gear box from second hand market for around Rs.8000/- but watch out for defective or damaged gear boxes
