    Dont know about said brands but my Uno got "NEXEN 2000 185/65 R13" The road grip & braking is exellent. The said profile is bit higher than standard so my car is showing 3% less milage on Oddo & Speedo meter.

    Tyre sellers advice to go for fatter tyres with differing profiles but i dont want to do that. Choices are very limited in this size. People having santro and Kia classic can also tell about what tyre replacements they have got in stock sizes as they also have same size.

    155 ?? Why ?

    Go for atleast 165/65/R13, I have those on my Santro and they give a beautiful Soft Ride. I am using Kumho.

    And...........if you are planning to get Rims too then how about the following one....imagine that on your Black Fiat....

    No point in getting fat tyres and alloys on a daily runabout which looks more like a wartroop carier LOL
    Stock tyres are sufficient. I am getting so messed up with all these tyres walas that i am thinking of putting General Tyres
    At least they are available in this size
    Thye speedo is already showing a lot of error on the down side. Need to fix that with stock size as well.

    congrats, this time around u wont apply emergency brakes with those generals on. btw, 155/70 R12 is stock size for UNO ?
    now u ve bought R12 tyres otherwise u could ve gone for 13" rims from city/cultus and they wouldnt cost u much with those 165/70R13, only 12" rims are somewhat expensive as they r mostly used by suzukis/taxis etc.

    @Spectra:

    If you use car for 'ride use' only .................. you can go for even 145/13R..............

    otherwise you've got option of installing low-profile tyres... like

    185 series on 14" RIM

    thats great help aliqadri. i have made the purchase but it is useful for others.
    my choices were

    another dunlop 2450
    general 1375
