Last night a sudden trip planed for Faisalabad so i got checked water, oil, & tyre pressure & start journey i choose the motor way for my trip,

Speed maintained=120~145 Km/H (As the car stucks at 145KM/H)
Temprature Range=60~65 Deg Celcius (As thermostat valve was direct)
    Fuel Cunsumption=15.4 Km/L

I thought that in presence of opartional thermostat valve the Fuel Economy & Top speed should increase as normal operating temrature of Uno is 80~90 Deg C.

On my way back to Lahore i choose National High way & speed acheived was 80~100 km/H, tepmrature still remains same 60~65 C but fuel consumption hasn't checked yet but i m assuming it will be better then before as top speed was reduced to 100 Km/H instead of 145Km/h.
    Will update soon after refueling.

    @beeberg,

Thermal Switch to operate Fan is in auto mode but thermostat valve is still direct both these are diffrent things will explain u later. U r cofused becuase in charade its seems to be same device but even then they r seperate devices.
As far as Tacho meter is concern it is on hit list just wait for the proper time as u know some work is in progress.

2 days and 1 night working on FIAT.

    Few successful D.I.Y done (y)

    1- changed thermostat valve successfully.
2- corrected mixing of hot and cold air coming in same duct.
    3- Found hazard light button
    4- fixed bumper
5- placed the bunch of cables under dash at proper place.

    FIAT is more happy now.

    will post pics later..

we will be more than happy to work for your giant.
my dad was laughing as the other day passed and dash was all out of car.
    but we did everything successfully.

one thing is consufing, i saw a electric switch on thermostat now we couldnt manage to understand that to which wire we should connect it.
car is out of city now and probably would be back in town too. can u give some idea about the switch on thermo stat?

AC has lower power of air thrust, which we managed to fix by placing solid cards between the gaps of duct and eventually it worked fine.
later we used missile clip and other clips like same to correct the movement of blower in dash, no bad looks all done inside.
now next DIY would be fixing that thermostat switch and rear belts.

seats are way tight in movement. will WD-40 work or have to take them out for servicing?

My trip to faisalabad on the Gaint was a little setback. One of the tappets got stuck and now it needs some attention. Havent examined the whole thing yet. In any case, it has done the trip and brought us back home with missing an backfires avearge speed was still a little above 100

Diesel consumption was not bad either but it was not at best because of oe cylinder misfiring.

    1700 Rs. for 680 kms

Not many pics but this is something which got my attention at bhera

Kalma at one side and Yummy Ad on other side. Enlightened moderation or what?
