Default Battery for Mercedes Benz W210

My mercedes benz w210 - E230 1997 model is currently in workshop for some time and the battery died. I have given it to various battery shops but it is not picking up charge. the battery is Hankook MF60038. 12V. 100Ah..Battery is located under the rear passenger seat.

where are the dry batteries available in Lahore and what are the prices for 100AH battery?

Secondly can i use normal 100Ah wet battery in the car?

Check out Hafeez centre, 18 months back I purchased a Varta [smuggled from kabul ] 100 amp dry battery for Rs. 12000 batch & date of manufacture was same year for a BMW Z coupe. For your MB dimensions are critical liquid battery may give you frequent CEL [check engine] light . I also got 2 VARTA batteries last year from Peshawer again those were from Kabul for my home UPS system. 120 AMP each was under 15000 ea. currency devaluation in view price may be between 18 - 22000 now.

No W210 ever used a dry battery, they all had wet cell batteries with a vent tube, the latest upgrade of the batteries are AGM type. btw if your battery is not picking up charge, pop the top plate off and remove some electrolyte to weigh it, its SG should be 1.275 - usual complaint is the water has evaporated out. In some cases you can revive it back. If not then new battery time. You need a 100Ah unit which can supply 900 CCA - the best is the original white MB battery made in Spain.
