    Talking Audi A3 First Impressions

    Pre-Ordered In August. delivered yesterday
    First Impressions:Audi A3 First Impressions -1514204
Excellent ride, with dual clutch and 07 speed s-tronic you wont feel the gear changes at all. 180hp power shows itself when you put your foot down, compact yet very powerful and beautiful (new Leds and body shape, lines do make it look better than a4 & other old gen cars in Pakistan) . Quite spacious, I am 5'11" and i felt very comfortable in the back however 03 people in the back wont be a very good idea for long ride unless one of them is a kid.
features wise: 10 way powered seats with 04 way lumbar support. Leather interior, leather steering wheel, New MMI is amazing and offer excellent features, info & is very ease to browse through menus. 10 speakers 180w sound is really impressive. All the basic level luxury features are there like weather control, interior lighting, keyless boot opening, parking assist with sensors on the back, 07 Airbags etc etc. you don't have to spend a single dime above 4.5 million.
This car offers one of the best value for money deals, period. If you are thinking of buying it, just do it.

During last few months I went through pricing and options of different luxury brands in Pakistan including mercedez, bmw, porsche etc. I even bought a new crz from Honda. Just a advice to anyone looking to buy a new imported car. Audi has a market penetration stragety and it offers best deals money can buy in all categories whether it's suv, or business saloon or entry level luxury sedans. Of course porsche or higher end mercedez might be better but if you compare prices and offers Audi is at the moment offering best combination of price and quality.

I agree Audi got the best value for money if one can go a little higher for a small sedan. Civic or local Toyota got nothing equal to it and BMW & Merc are two times more expensive. Its better to buy two audi in the price of one of those.
I am more into Audi S3 too bad its not available for sale over here.

I am actually quite astonished at the price the A3 is available so the plan is to purchase it soon.
Could you please describe the options included in the said package and price if you don't mind?(PM would do)

I think the package in reference above is called the 'Function Package'. It wasn't available when the A3 was initially launched so it would probably be missing in Mr. Umer's car seen in this thread. This package priced at Rs.100,000 is totally worth having in my opinion. It includes the following,

    1) Rear Armrest
    2) Aluminum Interior Look (this is the best option, it adds Matt-finished aluminum borders to almost all the buttons and AC vents)
    3) 3D Luv Inlays (sort of silver carbon fiber look door inlay and dash inlay)
    4) Mobile phone/key holder

Other than this package, if one can afford, Panoramic sunroof (Rs.300,000) and B&O Sound system (Rs.200,000) would be some awesome add-ons. The pano roof would add to the resale value of the car and the sound system for personal pleasure

Sounds fantastic! Could you send me information about all of the packages offered by Audi PK? It'd be of great help.

None of the options mentioned above come standard either in the 1.2 (yes its 1.2) or the 1.8 version. Except Audi Pak is now ordering most of the A3's with function package with a price tag of 4.6 million.

Not yet, but I have driven the A4 and that is pretty good. A3 being better than the current A4 in almost every aspect, except the size, should have an amazing drive and feel to it ...

The car is amazing for pak conditions. It has road clearance same as civic (on paper it's same but actually it's even better than my city and crz). Suspensions are very soft and size is compact almost same as civic. Because of compact size and 180hp engine it acceralates really quickly. It's also very comfortable.

Thanks for the brief review of the ride comfort. Maybe you should write a short review of the MMI as well, and of course pictures of it appreciated anytime of the day
