BELEVE IT or NOT ! your choice .

my piaggio is doing about 65 Km/L .
acceleration is about normal and top speed is not more than 98 - 100 max
but milage its giving is amazing.

it was doing 40 in the start but after 2 tunings maby my mechanic has hit a jack pot for me and im geting 65 per liter out of it.

by the way im no ambasidor for this bike just wanted to shre my wonder moment with you guys :p

oh n forgot to update you guys I have changed my handle bars with clip on sports handles.

next step is the removal of griping bar at the rear.
then the mud guard will be removed.
then the tyres shall be targited
then if I have enough money ill swithch to alloys and maby add rare disks as well.

    wish me luck !

PS: All this adition n change will definetly slower the bike more than the crap it is now but will definetly make it's looks Impressive

guys a waqif was telling me that ravi has solved two major problems in piaggio 125...first one is starting problem and 2nd is top speed which before was not reaching more than 100km....but now in the new piaggio they hve solved the problems and are also working on other minor problems......like petrol avg...in start it really gives a bad avg but settles a bit after some months not much...so they are also working on it.....

Dear All, Dealer of Ravi Piaggio at rawalpindi told me, "never tune or repair your ravi 125 bike from a honda mechanic they will destroy this machine". Only tune it from a mechanic who knows its work. otherwise this bike will not perform at its best.

^^ he is right because honda mechanics are like opium addicts,, as an opium addict needs only opium to survive so does the honda ustads and chaelaz needs only honda,, anything other is a **** and use hammer to adjust it,,

its good that ravis is making a seperate site for its product,, but one thing that needs to bone is to publish its repair and service maniuals and sale them.,,, this will not only help its customrs maintain their bike within specs but also give a great boost to its pr,, and this will create a uniquness of their products,,
as a niche market is only interested in this storm and there are very few service stations so technical manuals will help those stranded customers,,

Alrte am back dudes with some information (practical information) about bike,s performance. as i have completed its running.i shall now twist the full throtle to unleash its power. but whenb i did i found out:
1= The bike,s top speed (recommended by manufacturer) is max 85 km/h yep thats rite a honda cd 70 will surpass u. ( u can see the manuall provided with de bike). but practically when u push the bike hitting 11000 rpms u can rewach lets just say about 100 km/h. but then clearly if ur an expereinced biker and knows the working of an engine , ull clearly hear the uncomfortable noise and vibrations of engine meaning that engine is being oushed to limit . result? destruction of engine aka engine stalling or less engine life.
2= bike is heavy which is good for comfort and long distance and strait roads. its bulit like that. any person having the knowledge about the dynamics and physics involved in sports type bikes will know that wo factors effect bikes majorely.
a= bike shuld be less heavy i.e small no on weight .piaggo is curentlly 111 kg . so obviously this load + fuel load + ur weit = major weights.
3= bike clearly achieves what it was desgined for. clearly a 125 cc engine has some limitaions and a limit of speed is there. 80 to max 90 km/h is safe parameters for engine. but for a brief moment only. as bike will be much more economical and happy @ 45 km?h speed (no joking)
4= but u can always increas the ps aka horse power of the bike. by doing sum modifications. like removing its parts making it more light , modifying or by replacing its muffler , high ocatne or may be replacing sum other parts wid sum racing parts(practically impossible in pak at de momnet for this catagory of bikes)
NOTE: this dosent mean that it is inferior to other brands like honda or suzuki, other brands also have limited performance. for example a honda 2011 modle or whatever latest model is will go max on 97.7 km/h if pushed hard. only riders recless enuff who eigther lack knowledge or a re just ignorants will abuse bike to go beyond its limits.
to put in a summary the bottom line is : 125 cc catagory is limited to 100 km/h speed. brands can manipulate gear ratios to give some bikes more acceleration and economy respectively vice versa. but i will make u all aware that Piaggio did sum unjust act by removing the orginal speed o meter printing (which had 120 labeld as top speed) wid the 140 one . it was a marketing scam to fool pakis or to be more precise (paray likhay jahil or sust log , who just simply dont care about investigating . they just follow the flow of water.)
finaly i bought dis bike not because of that it wuld do 1350 mazay say , it was clearly the mater of pocket. as it was a bang for buck . if i wuld have been not limited by pocket i wuld ve buyed the real bikes A suzuki hybusa gsx 1300 r . but i cannot afford . these bikes even dont fulfill seafty standards.
but phir bhi ALLAH ka lakah shukar hai k HE blessed me wid this one...

also then the asking price was Rs:80,000/- and I wanted to get it in Rs:75,000/- but the deal got final in Rs:76,000/- and an extra 500 for bike prepration.
