    yeah this is where 5th gear comes in action
    but again 110km is very high speed
    really amazed to see, it beared that much stress for continous 1 hour
    Ravi Engine Sure has guts

    110km on highways is normal speed for cars
    not these Pakistani 125's

    yep, I dont know if it is possible, I doubt the meter! may be its on 100 or 105 kmh... and showing 110... because I seazed Honda 125 which I kept at 11k RPM in 2008 in topgear for 20 minutes from jhelum to gujarawala hiogh way passing through Kharyan Canntt. and it seazed and valve Jammed and damaged the piston badly...

    I agree that 5th Top gear is meant to do it but still I imagine if it really did a 110 for 1 hour .... thats risky at least my paiggo cannot do it it will seaze for sure h ah ah h ah ah h ahahhah a

    i usually goto karachi after 2,3 months on bike and it always take me around 1 hour to reach karachi. So there's no question of speed o meter. Cuz the distance from my place to karachi is 120km's. I always change the oil at 1000km's and take care of engine as much as possible. Iam planning a very very long trip in coming months may be that will prove what is capable of. Till now my longest trip is about 500km

    My storm is in not that healthy shape hehehhehe ... if you plan that 500KM trip plan it to northern area if you go via Lahore I can join you, and if via Islamabad I will speed reach Islamabad and join you there.. but do let me know at least a month before so that I can bring bike to touring shape and applly for vacations

    Salam all Ravi-Piaggio bikers, my bike is now 2 year old n doing good, but i got a sudden problem yesterday, bike suddunly started to blow black smoke with missing, took my bike to a street machanic and cleaned up plug. Plug is total new replaced last week, but now its head was very blackish. After cleaning black smoke almost vanished but still very litle is coming. Any Help
    according to that machanic its due to patrol over flow

    Asjdsm or vickytulla might be helpfull in this regard as i particularly have no such experience on this. But if your bike is consuming extra petrol then this can verified by the condition of plug

    Black = Extra Fuel

    Brownish Black = Appropriate

    if cleaning/changing has improved the smoke (i.e now smoke is reduced ) then t could very well be the problem of rich or over rich mixture.. it happens when their is more petrol mixed with air by carburettor so when the sparkplug fires the mixture a lot of unburned particles just emits.. the solution could b to clean and readjust carb.. but do it from some knowledgeable man.. kisi aisa banday ka hathay na char jana jo is pa seekh jaya..

    have u checked ure engine oil is it wht it shpould be ? kam tho nahi hova?
    ua bhoth pathla tho nahi hova?
    jalna ki bo tho nahi a rahi..

    hopefully (?) its carbs adjutment issue..

    If it really is black then now worries ! get the feul reduced a little and smoke will dissappear, carb setting is very sensitive thing I dont get my carb open very often, only got it cleaned5/6 times in my total experience with this bike, even this count is high according to me ....

    Pakistan men carburetor ki setting ky magicians rahty hain go to some Good reputed mechnic who is in touch with racers wheelers they have very good in hand experince.

    Do get the compression checked as well, may be your bike rings are getting lose (if rings are depricating mostly smoke color is not black so dont worry but still get it checked)...

    @ silver-knife, viktulla and asdjsm Thanx for your help, Smoke was real black, not that of weak rings or that of mobil oil. 2ndly spark plug was black not brown so it was clear that it was due to bad air-feul mixture. Will take my bike to ravi-piaggio machanic at rawalpindi today. once again thanx for your help

    I realized I don't need it any more, bike came out to be reliable in this context, at least for me.

    what I think that they added kick becuase they new Pakistanis are not in habbit of maintaining bike and keeping batterries alive, so starter alone will not do the Job so they added a kick, but for a person like me who doesnt messes up his bike, self Starter is more then enough.
