    Well, Our Vespa is in Bad shape now a days sadly bcoz Dad no longer driving it so, No body to take care of it.

    My Dad bought it in 1979 Same year i was born.

    Use to be our only vehicle for years and use to drive it all over the place and we also took it to gilgit i remember there were only 2 Vespa's in Gilgit and people use to gather around where ever we use to park it :p It was early 90s.

    Great machine and very easy to maintain.

    I will try and post pics of my vespa soon.

    Mahmood, When i was there, Some professor had a vespa other than ours.

    We use to live in Daneur (Spell) and use to go to Gilgit everyday and i remember near the main china bridge the Vespa use to heatup and stop, Than we use to wait for 5 mins and go again

    from danyore to gilgit it isnt that much of distance then why does it heat up, and by then what was the condition of path which went through the tunnel, might sound crazy but i walked couple of time from chinese graveyard to picket at china bridge

    Yeah Distance isnt that much but climb was too much for vespa with 2 people on it

    Well as far as i remember there were two ways to get to Gilgit, the old one and the new road made by chinese. So we mostly used the new road.

    Suzukia chalti thi on that old road. Its a long time back so i dont remember much

    @ShyGuy02
    wellcome to club kamal sir
    and that 64 looks hot my uncle owns a 62 almost same shape and it was bought by his father in 1962 brand new its also restored and its now serving third generation of his family
    and believe me in 10 years vespa's will be collectibles as well
    and have you imported that back seat frame or is it available here?
    vespa's are like endanger species due to petrol prices and china cd 70 copy bikes but still how much china bike lives 3 yrs max 5 yrs or exceptional case 10 yrs but vespa's serves generations
