what is the price of piaggio?
I work only because it pays for three F's. Food for me, Fuel for my bike and Film for my camera.

Piaggio-125 is amazing!!! Has better & sportier looks than all other bikes in Pakistan. Plus it is Euro Certified. I would definitely go for Piaggio-125 if I have to get a new bike. Plus it has many cool colors/

dude honda represents reliability, good support for spare parts and service, has better performance, has been tested time and time again, has better resale and what not. although the new kid on the block piaggio has looks to offer and that nice addition of a five gear to go along with it, compare to what it has to offer in the above mentioned departments. reliabilty, servce, spareparts, test of time and the resale.
if looks really matter all that much to you then get a deluxe the tank of a piagiio and get a local denter to replace em for you. it should be possible i am pretty sure.
if price is the real bottle neck here then i suggest you go for the gs 150 still. piaggio just for the looks?.... i dont think so.

IMO Ravi leads in looks but in performance GS-150 (being a 150cc) is better.
Both are good in their categories.
Buy whatever you are comfortable with.
    Good Luck!

Well its all upon u...u r the one who is going to decide what u want to go for u can only learn about both of the bikes here but dont ask for choice of anyone else coz it will not necessarily be a good choice for u. for start u can learn about both by thoroughly reading the following threads:
    For Piaggo
    https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/bik...5-euro-ii-bike

    For GS 150
    https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/bik...-best-bike-pak

    https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/bik...s150cc-gs125cc

    https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/bik...hotos-comments

For piaggo u can dig up the above thread but for gs150 i m quoting the most comprehensive review and advice for new buyers by "asad01" u should read and follow that criteria, i m sure that it will really help.

Most of the complaints about bikes on this forum are generally wishes unfulfilled and over-expectations not met, often coupled with inexperience and incorrect information and some are one-off personal experiences. Very few complaints are mentioned by multiple users(some of which are not exactly faults, just the way a bike was designed and people who don't like that particular thing still bought the bike and complained).

I bought my GS150 in mid 2008 and didn't have any of the problems you mention. In my bike there was a faulty front shock tube(it had a chip) that was replaced under warranty during running in period, it was probably a quality control problem that showed itself after about 300 km.

There was speedometer cable assembly problem that others have also mentioned and even the mechanics at Suzuki service centre also acknowledged. You just need to take extra care of the assembly and the speedometer and tachometer cables.

I never had any wiring problems, and the bike was fine when I bought it. I can't comment on the paint as it is not important for me and I have never paid any attention to it, it probably still looks the same as it was.

    For first time buyers:
Since it would be your first bike, i would strongly recommend that you borrow it from someone and have a few trial runs on routes that you will be riding regularly at the timings you will use it. Make sure you like the handling or at least can tolerate it in heavy traffic. Taking it for a spin on wide roads with less traffic doesn't mean anything.

Remember, the handling of GS150 is different from all other bikes in Pakistan, it is difficult to zig-zag in heavy traffic. If you have the patience and tolerance of watching a dozen or more 70 cc bikes overtake you at and between every traffic light then go for it, otherwise get a Suzuki Sprinter.

Sprinter has a shorter zero to 80 kph time than GS150 and it can zig-zag through the traffic with ease, which makes it a better in-city use bike. GS is the best long distance traveling bike in Pakistan. Make sure you buy according to your usage. If you will be using it for both in-city and long distance, then let your tolerance and patience be the deciding factor.

    Misconception about Power:
One misconception is about power, GS150 has the power to take a rider and a passenger over Nathiagali hills using about the same gears that it uses to take a single rider, thats what power is. If you like to speed run the bike don't bother with GS, buy a Kawasaki GTO or Yamaha RX115 they have the high torque required, it will be much cheaper as well, maybe you will save enough to buy a Chinese 70 cc bike for daily work.
@asad01 Plz forgive me for quoting ur text without ur permission

Now if u ask my personal opinion than i would (and still) have gone for gs150 coz i am not into "looks" i need high performance and a robust machine which i found in gs with a weakness (NO Front Disk Brakes!!)thus i made my purchase and i m quite happy with it but than again its just me and i m not a legitimate source for recommendation coz so far i drove it for 200 kms only,

Finally for making ur mind consider:
    1-Your usage
    2-After sales service(Parts & labor availability)
3-Snatch Hot (consider this if u r in karachi)
    4-Fuel consumption

Best of luck with ur purchaseRavi Piaggio 125... OR Suzuki Gs 150, which one to buy - 1aKF4PJ7cBm32CUNiyI2GAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC

lol wht can i say , guess u never faced some1 with Piaggio while u were on Honda, so that u would have admitted , five gears are not for looks ,they are to perform , enough to by pass honda
