Default Ravi Piaggio or Habib Stryker

    Aoa to All respected members,
I am in the process of purchasing 125cc bike and after all research, narrowed down my list to two bikes:
    a) Ravi Piaggio
    b) Habib Stryker

Personally i like Habib Stryker because it has:
    a) Front Disc Brakes
    b) Alloy Rims
    c) 16 litre fuel tank
    d) Cool shape
    e) Self starter
    f) Parts easily available in Karachi as i verified by visiting their dealer at M.A Jinnah road and talked to Habib motorcyles head office

But on the other hand cannot ignore this Italian- Pak joint venture production of Ravi Piaggio, but going through threads, comments by their owners got the idea that this bike create some issues at very early stage though it has got max top speed and very comfortable to ride. Ravi web is also not upto the mark and does not provide their dealer network and still is in test phase....

    Please share your valuable comments!!!

Piaggio storm has only one little advantage over stryker and that is its top speed is 140km/ hr whereas stryker's top speed is 120 km/hr but than again Suzuki Gs150 also has top speed of 120 km/hr. You asked about its perfomance, well while riding it i sometimes feel that i am riding a heavy bike, it sure is full luxury from all aspects in just 85k. Its too early to mention its acceleration from 0-100 and fuel consumption as i have just completed 200kms on it and still its running is yet to be completed, cant push new engine to 100kms rite now. Once done 1000 kms will sure update all members of its perfomance, but till now its pick is superb and outclass, whereas Piagio is giving some problems that is the very reason i did not buy that. Go for stryker in black color.... and feel people looking at you from all sides... bottom line:
Great looks, Luxuring ride, tremendous feeling, very good pickup, good fuel mileage, i think that is more a person can get in Pakistan (as compared to local bikes)... maybe someday HONDA starts making CBRs in Pak... abd YAMAHA starts making RR bikes.... SUZUKI starts making Boulevard bikes and KAWASAKI starts making NINJA bikes...than yes Stryker has a tough competition to face if anyone above start making their top quality stuff! but till than STRYKER is the best among the rest!
Keep telling us about performance of your Stryker.

Recently i started taking long drives on my Stryker 125, and guess what, other motorcylists asking me about its performance, price on singnal stops. i was very much pleased at the positive response... Recently i heard YAMAHA Japan is going to invest $150 million at karachi to setup its plant to manufacture 125ccm, 150cc and other top bikes like they are producing in INDIA. Can't wait to see YAMAHA top bikes in Karachi with ample spare parts, after sales availability. But as you all know JAPAN has been struck with this earthquake, flood scenario, dont know how did it affect YAMAHAs plan to start its operation in Karachi.
    KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!
    Till than Stryker Rocks.

alizee bhai technical specs tu ap nay batien he naie? i test drived stryker and although i was not alowed to take it to its limit, all i can say that it was more quietwr and silent, but it was round about same as piaggio. but piaggio is still better option here..stryker althu has better built quality. but its bulky and too heavey for a 125 cc engine..its more of a show horse then a perfomance horse.

I think before buying shouldn't we think that its imported from india.

where is our patriotism? why we act like fools.

if india were in our place they would hate to buy this bike.

the best support is the financial support and indirectly we are supporting them.

so say no to all such things imported from India.

now dont say kay ye bhi ata hay woo bhi tu ata hay.

if habib is importing indian bikes then my vote for Ravi.

if for example it has advantage over other bikes, tu mar nahi jain *** ya badhazmi nahi ho jay gi if we not buy that bike.

and the good thing is that looks wise Ravi is far better then habib.

@ Above.. Buddy i respect your emotions.. But By boycotting only a single indian product what damage can we do to them?? nOthing.. Not even a single fraction.. If the boycott has to be made then i suggest that it would rather be made on a large scale.. And i think that INDIA is not our enemy rather Americans are..

i'm not a big spender, if i buy one of these bikes i'm likely to stuck with that for ever or untill i win a million rupees in prize from some where .

need suggestion, i had a bike for 8 years and it did only 34000 km, i also don't run wild and i'm pretty much a safe driver, but i want something better than a 70 that will last just as long.

    @silver

but dear we should have to start from some point other wise if we keep arguing that it doesnt matter tu phir kuch bhi nahi ho ga.

the best way to break the back of any country is financial hitting. Denmark ko pari thi na.

never look what others do. one should look what he or she can do.

important is what part i am playing, not necessary that others think like you do but you cant wait for them to change their mind and then you start doing what you want to do.

we should have courage to be first drop of rain.
