    Foremost it is an honest and realistic review of the product, i mean no offense to any of the Companies mentioned. i am solely describing my own experience and opinion.

    First of All i would like to clarify that i have been using Honda for almost 12 years, and its a wonderful brand, no doubt about it, but it not not evolved over this long period. just kept following the other brands trends. i had honda 70 before and wanted to buy a new deluxe but my decision changed at the very last minute.

    So i bought Ravi Piaggio 125 instead. it was a big save of money plus the bike looked cool and sporty. i will first describe its pros and cons

    Pros
    great look
    economical price
    Better price VS Quality ratio
    nice acceleration in 2nd and 3rd gear
    5<sup>th</sup> gear really adds to the stability of the bike
    Seat and shocks are comfortable
    Good for long trips
    Speedometer looks really nice with its back light
    Good braking
    Various small features that make up a good experience like dipper, fuel gauge, bigger headlamps etc…
    Cons
    Low resale value
    The owners and dealers have created to much hype of the product, it is not as good as told and described
    Fuel consumption is same as Honda deluxe but performance is not (believe me on this)
    Top speed is marketed at 130km, trust me people, this bike can hardly touch 100km
    Very very hard to find in showrooms due to limited production
    Spare parts are Rare, only available at few showrooms
    Long and hectic process of warranty claim
    Good mechanics are hard to find for this bike


    To sum it all up, I want to say that’s it’s a good bike for the price, but it is not comparable to Honda CG let alone deluxe. So the comparison does not stand. RAVI has made a good product with a lot of efforts but nothing is perfect. Its market value, spares and service will increase over time, because it’s a good start. I believe the monopoly created by the YAMAHA and HONDA is going to end if products like these keep getting injected into market. If you are planning to buy this product please try to get an owner ‘s opinion and atlest ride it for 5km before finally deciding, don’t believe marketers and dealers unless u try it for urself.     I dont know why bikes like Cg125 delux and Ravi piaggio lack top speed? I Have a Yamaha Junoon and it easily goes upto 98Km/Hr... It stucks there abit bt goes even onwards.. max. iv done upto 102Km/Hr on it...
    bt 95 is no big deal for it? And if a 100cc OHC engine can do that? Than i guess the only edge OHVs had was there Speed-and if theres no speed in them? Then why buy them? OHCs are much durable than OHVs?

    there is a lot of difference between storm and 100 ccs ,and piaggio doesnt lack top speed ,
    mine touches 100km/h in 3rd gear and 110 in 4th and so on , all it needs is a proper setting,
    and OHC lack durability and maintainence cost is also high for them due to use of timing chain etc
    OHV are tough ,robust and require less maintainence ,thts y they were devoloped for underdeveloped countries
    one more thing u cant compete a 125cc with a 100cc machine , just keep it in mind

    Dude im only comparing them in terms of top speeds only; after reading the posts of people here in this thread complaining that their bikes(125) dnt even cross 100Km/hr.

    2ndly Upto my info ur info is wrong, OHVs are not robust.. OHCs are more robust.
    Eg: CG125's engine VS CD70's
    125s are OHV and Cd70s are OHC.
    OHCs = ever popullar due to less fuel & maintenance costs.
    OHVs = raw power but lesser life in comparison.
    Thats why CG125s require much more engine overhauls than a CD70 although 70 is a small engine and 125 is more powerfull.

    no offence but if u have time ,read the complete history how cg 125 engine was designed for underdeveloped countries and why they had to switch back to OHV instead of already developed OHCs
    only purpose was to design an engine with less maintainenece cost and to perform under extremely tough conditions
    here is the complete history , do read it , hope it will clear ur mind

    ohohohoh... ihave got a piaggio 125 so lets see how true you people are its has just covered 500km let me go through 1st tuning and i will get back to you on this.

    Ha Ha Ha.. Nice going. sir i travel almost 800km per month as i have to go to karachi from quetta due to my studies.. further sir ye apki umer ka takaza hai.. at 40 plus.. ))

    Yes i can do this.,.. woh bhi non stop.. and why to go at 80?? if i can attain higher speeds

    man 1000km non stop .lol you and your bike can do this , unless you want to die , it's a small machine and it needs constant stop over after 50, to 60 miles for the better health of your bikes engine.

    in your post u mentioned 1000 km non stop not 800 kmm in a month ,, infact i do almost 1500km in a month,,,

    and as far as the speed is concerned the daewoo can attain 140 km/hr plus and do it but there arent enough roads to pernit this speed ,, in the end if a daewoo covers approx 400 km in 7-8 hours it practically translates to 60-50 km/hr of avg speed,,

    Yes.. you are right.. but non stop doesn't suppose to mean ke me ek bar beth te utarne he ni.. ofcourse i will have to take some rest for an hour or so..

    maximum a daewoo can do is 120km/h as per my experience , waisay bhe daewoo hai jahaz nahi

    i have travelled to the nathia gali on this bike with two persons , more than a 1000 km trip in 3 days , no problems at all except 1 puncture
    bikes are ready to accept watever chalenge u bring , it all depends upon the person who is behind the handle
    so clear ur mind

    Low resale value ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ITS A FACT FOR ALL NEW COMERS, WE HAV TO MAKE IT WELL

    The owners and dealers have created to much hype of the product, it is not as good as told and described,,,,,,,,,, EVERYONE DO THIS, EVEN HONDA WITH A 1976 MODEL ENGINE IS DOING THIS

    Fuel consumption is same as Honda deluxe but performance is not (believe me on this) ,,,,,,,,,, BELIVE YOU BUT AN OLD USER SAYS SOMETHING DIFF. DELUXE NOT ABOVE 35 N THIS ABOUT 40

    Top speed is marketed at 130km, trust me people, this bike can hardly touch 100km ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, WHO IS MARKETING 130KM/HR, IF THEY ARE DOING OFFICIALLY, THEY ARE GOING AGAINST SOCIETY, THEY ARE SELLING A CIGRETTE, 100KM SPEED FOR A 125CC BIKE WITH WT OF 110KGS IS ENOUGH, DONT TALK ABOUT THOSE THINGS THAT ARE NOT PRACTICAL, IF CG125 DOES 120 OR 150 THEN WAT ABOUT SAFETY?

    Very very hard to find in showrooms due to limited production ,,,,,,,,, THEY HAVE TO WORK ON IT, BUT IN START MOST OF THE COMPOANIES FIND SAME THING IF THE PRODUCT IS SELLING WELL.

    Spare parts are Rare, only available at few showrooms ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, WE CAN TAKE THIS ISSUE TO COMPANY,

    Long and hectic process of warranty claim ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, WE CAN TAKE THIS ISSUE TO COMPANY,

    Good mechanics are hard to find for this bike ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, WE CAN TAKE THIS ISSUE TO COMPANY,

    my suggestion all of you, PLZ ENCOURAGE NEW COMERS, THEY WILL PUSH HONDA, SUZUKI, YAMAHA TO BE HONDA, SUZUKI N YAMAHA
