    Default My Ravi Piaggio 2011

Bought in 2011, bike has complete almost 4 years with almost 50K running. There are some major and minor changes made so far.

    1. Rear tyre changed to 100/90 Dunlop
    2. HID installed
    3. Charade ignition coil with iridium tiped plug
    4. Studs sportster for touring
    5. Handle changed to AHL Deluxe raised handle
    6. Mirror indicators

    Major locations covered so far:

Karachi, Uthal, Hingol, Kund Malir, Quetta, Ziarat, Islamabad, Neelum Valley, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Chistian.

And bike still going good, although the fat tyre has forced bike to consume oil on long runs but its till performing good.

I had no idea how much fuel was in my bike. It was near to reserve, hence i added roughly just a little amount...

When i get my bike filled up, then I'll pour with accurate measurements

Buddy thats for whiz cleaner that me and r1 are using.. As you are using STP booster, so iam not sure about its quantity. Read it behind the bottle and do the maths.. and make sure to clean the feeder after pouring high octane, Or else the baby will be on High octane Fuel Booster

I used 100ML every time with 12 some times 13 litters. Once ins start I added more the Bike started to stall and Over Heat because Cylender bilkul khusk ho jata hai ager Octane Level bohut zayada barh jaye tu. 100ml for 12/13 litters was best suited for paiggio, I am talking about STP "Jet Fuel Octane Booster" which Ha125 is using.

I've been thinking about buying a Piaggio. So I used their support/inquiry form to ask about price, and in their email reply they listed the price as 95,000/-.

A bit steeper than I'd originally thought(wasn't Piaggio a little cheaper until recently?). What I'm wondering is, whether this'll be the final price or does one usually have to pay black/comission to dealers and all. Also, what about registration costs and all that. This'll be the first time I buy a bike(if I get one, that is). So has anyone bought a piaggio recently?

    Thanks,
    Qasim

it all started from 67k in 2008 and as other thing priced increase so does the bike price.. look at deluxe its reaching almost whooping 120,000 ....

I am not sure if 95000 is base price because few monsth back I happen to meet a sales manager in a riders meetup he told me that x-factory rate is still 86 but vendors add there profit because the know its in demand but as you have confirmed now may be its now raised to 95k any ways... and if you go to reasonable dealer you will get it right priced or you can order to factory directly as you are in Lahore so you can visit in person to there outlet just outside there factory and their will be a registration fees to Lahore authorities to give a new Registration number thats 3k i think so total cost will be 98k, dont go for Black Purchase if you are not in hurry.

    hope it helps.

@vickytulla Thank-you for the info . Just a few more questions. Any idea where the factory/outlet located in Lahore?

How lengthy is the bike registration process, and does one have to get the registration paperwork done oneself(from which govt dept?), or does the retailer handle the process.

Do the more recent bikes still have quality issues like loose nuts and things like that, and how hard is it to find a quality mechanic for the piaggio?

1 - Factory address is on there website you can get it from there.., but I think you can find a good bike from market too..

2 - registration is managed by retailer and take a week not buyers headache mostly.

3 - Lose nuts issue is even in japanese bikes too... so one has to get over it .. ride it nice in running period and get any losend nut tight as soon as you find one and bike will adjust itself with weeks ...

4 - mostly people dont like the plug, chain cover and Fuel Guage ... according to me as I have come acccross five 2012~2013 models... fuel gauge and Chain cover are now improved but plug is still chinese which mostly is what people replace to get more OOMPH!
