    Default My Ravi Piaggio 2011

    Bought in 2011, bike has complete almost 4 years with almost 50K running. There are some major and minor changes made so far.

    1. Rear tyre changed to 100/90 Dunlop
    2. HID installed
    3. Charade ignition coil with iridium tiped plug
    4. Studs sportster for touring
    5. Handle changed to AHL Deluxe raised handle
    6. Mirror indicators

    Major locations covered so far:

    Karachi, Uthal, Hingol, Kund Malir, Quetta, Ziarat, Islamabad, Neelum Valley, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Chistian.

    And bike still going good, although the fat tyre has forced bike to consume oil on long runs but its till performing good.

    @vickytulla bhai bus yahan bhi ek dam he garmi honi hai it rained heavily today

    I want to ask as you have shifted back to stock rim and tyre. Which tyre you are using now. Is it 90/90 or 100/90.

    what i feel is 100/90 is an over load for RP's swing arm. what you say?

    I shifted back for a temporary purpose becuase I want to install alloys of same wieght which these wheels are ans no fat tyre just a moderate one and a Good imported 90/90-18 is enough ..


    Right now every thing is stock including servis 90~90-18 tyre...

    and you know what at moments on high way i even gave tough time to Cruiser ...

    Swing arm has no problem even with 140~80-17 as i was using it.. its the engine 125cc engine which do not like chubby tyres...

    looks fine .. what spray you used ? seems nice diy.. i might do it it on my reflector..
    did it produced noticeable improvements ?

    Bought it for i think 400rs, going good. yes the difference is noticeable. And the light reach has increased as the old chrome faded due to HID

    Is it heat resistant ? what is the brand name .. I once used chrome spray it fried on switching on the lamp...

    Yes bro. I even applied it on silencer and still persistant. Its Bosch brand

    Buddy iam into this engine hunt from last 4-5 days. Me and @r1 went to Kuchlak as well for getting some info about these afghan made cargo carrier.

    So here's the info we got.

    200cc engine will cost around 30k fully brand new and sealed. We inquired and went back to Quetta , though it was a speedy ride as both my and @r1's bike crossed 120km/h

    The other option was to look for Sazgar 200c water cooled engine. So i inquired and it was available for 35k. But as i call'd @FeoVo he told me to not to go for sazgar as the engine quality is not upto the mark.

    What he suggested is to use saazgar piston in Ravi Piaggio and it will be good to go as he himself is using same set up from last year and completely satisifed.

    So i went to one ustaad here in Quetta and discussed with him matter in detail. Here's what he said

    1. Dont go for Zarang (Afghan) engine, the engine in piaggio is better than that one

    2. If you want to do alteration just use chamber and piston of Zarang.

    3. Bike will be "Goli" with topspeed of more than 120km

    4. Total expense will be around 7k
