    Default My Ravi Piaggio 2011

    Bought in 2011, bike has complete almost 4 years with almost 50K running. There are some major and minor changes made so far.

    1. Rear tyre changed to 100/90 Dunlop
    2. HID installed
    3. Charade ignition coil with iridium tiped plug
    4. Studs sportster for touring
    5. Handle changed to AHL Deluxe raised handle
    6. Mirror indicators

    Major locations covered so far:

    Karachi, Uthal, Hingol, Kund Malir, Quetta, Ziarat, Islamabad, Neelum Valley, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Chistian.

    And bike still going good, although the fat tyre has forced bike to consume oil on long runs but its till performing good.

    @ Silver

    Dear can you tell me from few days experiance the following:

    1) How comfortable seat of Ravi is?

    2) Personally do you think it can go for long routs? especially when its rear tyre dont have that much grip.

    3) i think you have read many Ravi threads especially that of 32 paged thread. what is your summerized comments for this big considering your own experiance.

    If you have experiance of other bikes do quote the comparison if you can.

    1. Ravi seat is comfortable..As compared to honda but dont know about suzuki's ..

    2. Yes .. It has the capability for longer routes.. As far as rear Tyre is concerned you can change it.. But if you dont wana spend some extra fortune on bike and want togo with stock bike.. then Suzuki is the choice

    3. Brother i searched this forum for 1 month before buying the bike. I made up my mind for the following three bikes

    --> Honda CG125
    --> Ravi Piaggio 125
    --> Suzuki GS150

    Everything has its merits and demerits.. Honda has highest acceleration in its class no one can beat HONDA. Ravi Piaggio is the most stylish looking production bike of pakistan with latest features in lowest price. Suzuki is again the beast.. i never rode it.. but peoply say its the most suitable for longer trips and most comfortable.

    In the end its your choice.. What you want.. I want the bike with sporty look.and wana catch some people's attraction so i went for ravi. If you buy ravi then be ready to face some initial issues that i mentioned before.. but if you are committed then i bet. ravi is the best choice among all. ravi needs care.. like you care for your GF . Suzuki and Honda doesnt needs much care

    damn....

    i wonder why not suzuki change the looks of GS 150 other wise i think it would be the most wanted bike of its category. looks wise Ravi got 7/10, honda 6/10 and suzuki 3/10 its my rating of course.

    You are welcome brother. Enjoy the experience. Good to hear that you have had no issues. To get a better top speed you will need to get the air fuel ratio set up as advised by Silver. Any questions are welcome.

    You should think higher then that.I think 120 km/hr is some kind of insult for this bike.This bike is capable enough for doing 125-130km/hr.I saw a video of ravi piaggio on youtube doing 135 km/hr
