    Default My Ravi Piaggio 2011

    Bought in 2011, bike has complete almost 4 years with almost 50K running. There are some major and minor changes made so far.

    1. Rear tyre changed to 100/90 Dunlop
    2. HID installed
    3. Charade ignition coil with iridium tiped plug
    4. Studs sportster for touring
    5. Handle changed to AHL Deluxe raised handle
    6. Mirror indicators

    Major locations covered so far:

    Karachi, Uthal, Hingol, Kund Malir, Quetta, Ziarat, Islamabad, Neelum Valley, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Chistian.

    And bike still going good, although the fat tyre has forced bike to consume oil on long runs but its till performing good.

    i have seen that video, ok can you tell me that what should we say 'air and fuel mixture setting in urdu, coz u know mechanics dont understand like that . my bike is smooth in running and has got a good pick as well , i dont know what happens to it when its goes to 4th gear ....

    i remember once i went to a mechanic of this bike and he adjusted fuel setting , is that something to do with speed??

    Lol... I agree with Husnain. This bike can even do 130. But the thing to keep in mind always is safety and not achieving top speed. Whatever you do, please don't forget the safety and don't try to ride it at those speeds too often. This bike is not made for this speed. It can acheive this speed does'nt mean it should be driven at that speed.

    You can say "Bhaganay ke liye petrol set ker do" or "Petrol khol do"

    you r right bro safety comes first , honestly when this machine reaches 100 on our roads , in rwp, its good enough, coz im not a router :p i think that is good for me if i crave for speed than that might be fatal and like u said "petrol khol do" i think the situation of petrol these days " petrol band rahay to acha hai" lol

    if petrol is kept low like mine bike ,try dragging it in fourth gear , mine touches 115 km/h

    it goes to max 95kmph i have tried it dragging it in 2, 3 and 4th gear the speedometer needlt stucks

    bro fault can also be in ur speedometer , it doesnt mean ur speed isnt increasing , i have heard about faulty speedometers coming ,get it checked from a speedometer specialist
    one more thing , note ur rpm when ur speedometer stucks at 95 , if they are increasing it means ur speed is increasing
    other thing ur clutch plates have failed ,but its a rare chance with new bike ,
    what i am thinking is its ur speedometer fault

    that can be true , coz i slipped from my bike on day 5th i purchased that , but the rpm still moves on i took the rpm to max till 4th gear and drag it and on 5th gear rpm is 9500 ..... is it ok???

    yes this rpm is ok , infact its almost the max rpm of 5th gear , i think ur speedometer is faulty , if bike is in warranty try to replace it

    Bro Stock Storm max speed is 100km/hr so hassan is rite, there is no faulty meter, meet me one day as u also live in rwp, we can see the meter problem (if there is as Umer says) by having a long ride

    No buddy.. Its maximum speed is 125KM/h As per my personnel testing.

    PIAGGIO EXP(ULTIMATE REVIEW):
    Hello piaggions ......i have rode now 5k approx......got two accidents small one 1st one got my meter broke 2nd one just crashed side lights and deshaped ridiing handle a bit but after little fixation the bike is new again........I VE LEARNED NEW LESSONS ON THIS BIKE CONSIDERING DIMENSION WHERE TO GIVE CLOSE QUARTZ OR NOT IN THE CITY.....i wont recomnd with this one like CG or CD this bike has a big footprint.......................QUALiTY: i agree may be some parts have avrg quality but my two accidents one at 60 one at 70 kmph prove otherwise and have seen very closely DELUXE and Storm i dont see major diffrnce small small ones......besides now i cant ride HONDA bikes anymore they feel much much lighter which is kinda KIDO to me.......I HAVE DROVE TWO BIKES EXTENSIVELY GS150 AND STORM if u really want a ride in pakistan there is no much better ride than these two ......gives u POWER GRIPS...80 TO 0 IN 2 3 SECONDS ......BIKES AND SAFETY STANDARDS ONLY WORK THE WAY IF U HOW TO DRIVE......ive crashed two times like my bike was kinda 4 to 5 roll on the road got stand ALLAHUMDULILAH AND RODE THE BIKE BACK HOME NO PRB WHATS SO EVER......i admit im not good at riding but learning.....SPEED AND ACCELERATION: Like the post said above by SILVER KNIFE IS QUITE COMPREHENSIVE...it give performance and top speed like that too if hav 3 to 4 km patch.........BUT I ON THE CONTRARY PUSHED THE BIKE TO THE LIMITS MANY MANY TIMES....i try to finish 3rd gear at 80 to 85 round rpm 9 to 10 than come 4 which than pushes to 90 at round 10 after on 5th uve to remain for about quite a time to reach 120 +......................i raced CG125 DEFAULT WITH STORM 125 DEFAULT LIKE MINE(on KHYABAN E JINAH LAHORE)....many times i found cg will let u on tail at least for start 1 to 1.5 patch AFTER THAT LOL...NO MATCH CG STUCK TO 80 TO 90 IT'LL TOUCH 100 LATER 4 RTH GEAR AT CG 100 TOUCH LATE THAN PIAGGIO BY THE TIME I HAD LEFT HIM WITH QUITE A PACE.....MAINTENANCE:Lets face it oil one by one HAVOLINE USED DINT GIVE DESIRED RESULTS WHAT I THINK ITS FOR MAINTAINING FUEL ECONOMY TO ME ITS CRAPY OIL.........I WOULD RECOMND ZIC(HIGHLY RECOMENDED) OR MOBIL OIL FOR PIAGGIO IF U ARE REGULAR PUSHER LOL.......GIVE LONGER STRENGTH AND MAINTAIN GOOD SOUND PROFILE...PLEASE PLEASE DONT LET UR CARB CHECK......ADJUST WITH MECHANIC WHO REALLY KNOW SOUND PROFILE OF 125S AND HAS A QUITE GOOD REPUTATION IN DEALING SPECIALLY 125'S ......FOR PIAGGIO AND GS 150 ITS NOT EASY TO HANDLE THE ENGINE EVEN THE SLIGHTEST CARB TWEAK OR UPPER ENGINE COMPRT MAINTENANCE WILL RUIN THE BIKE PERFORMANCE.....IVE EXPRNCED THAT AND REALLY PISSED OFF.......MODIFICATION SUGGESTED: THERE IS CARB TWEAK HONDA 125 CARB THAT COME WITH EARLY 125 'S IN 90'S MODEL WITH BIGGER SLIDE MAKE PUMPING FUEL COMBUSTION ....BUT WILL RUIN UR CONSUMPTION IT IS ONLY SUGGESTED IF U WANT TO BEAT REGULAR 125'S WITH THEIR REGULAR STYLE OF SPRINT 1 TO 2 KM PATCH......UR BIKE WILL SURELY TOUCH 130 TOO.....THAT CARB IS USED BY CG'S COMPLETLY MODIFIED 125 WITH SMALLEST WEIGHT PRINT IN 125 CLASS IN LAHORE....SO ONLY THE CARB TWEAK IF U WANT IS SUGGESTED......WHAT I LIKE ABOUT PIAGGIO THE MOST OF ALL: SPORTY LOOK, STRONG GRIP, WEIGHT, ......ABOVE ALL.....ENGINE SOUND COMPARE ENGINE SOUNDS......IT SOUND COMPLETELY ITALIAN....LISTEN TO PIAGGIO APRILLIA......IM NOT JOKING THERE IS MARKED DIFF IN EURPEN BIKES AND JAPANESE.......TO ME EURPN ONES ARE MY FAV SOUNDS.....DONT GIVE MY PATHETIC HONDA ARGUMENT"BAHI HONDA KI DHOLKI HAI ....LOL.....HONDA HAS ONLY SILENCER SOUND"!!!!!

    Hi guys

    Facing the same problem as many of the piaggio owners , my bikes pick is v gud reaches to 60 like in something 4 seconds max if i rev the engine and drag it in first two gears but the thing is that when i change from 4rth to fifth the bike gets stuck at 105 ... dragged the bike in 4rth and reached 105 max and in 5th it does the same even on a 3 km patch ..... any help regarding its fuel mixture like adding more air or fuel to it would make my bike at least touch 115 ?????
