    Default Cleaning the fuel filter

Today i cleaned the fuel filter. I cleaned the filter and bottle from petrol then dried the cleaner and put it back on. If filter is full of dust then its actually ruining the carburetor. Pictures will explain the rest of the story

wovvv ,, very cute teeny tiny filter,,
nice to clean it,, it will not only save u in delaying the carb tuning but also in longivety of engine as small microscopic particles are detrimental to engine,,

I cleaned the fuel filter after 3000KM .. There was settled dust in the container as well as in the filter. Cleaning the filter may save you money. But i suggest you to buy new one as it only costs around 50rs. But if you wana clean the filter then wash it with petrol. Just smack it slowly against some hard object and then but some petrol on it. Then again smack it and wash it thoroughly but be gentle as the filter is made of paper. Let it dry and then again install it. Thats it.

    Hi friends..
I have a question that there are many Chinese bikes out there in the market looking same as Storm, even the engine looks are exactly the same just as made from same company... like Super Power, Unique, Super Hero etc etc.... All of these bikes were launched at almost the same time i.e in 2007-2008. So how can I be sure that Ravi Storm uses Italian branded Piaggio engine & not the same Chinese engine like others?????? Please help me as soon as possible as I am planning to move to Storm from Honda CD-70 & also I don't want to regret in future.

P.S I am going to buy a used one so if there is anybody from Ravi company, than be assured that my purchase will not help your company directly, so honest advise is requested

The technology is "Said" to be by piaggio... But the the bike itself is very chinese in the core of its heart lol! its all china and local made dear! Engine is not made by piaggio but by chinese co. And assembled by ravi i guess?
    I might be wrong maybe?

Default Right Handle Grip Not Working

From somedays my right handle grips electric system was not working properly means sometime self start went off and sometimes headlight went off put from last day it stopped working properly.

So went to mechanic. Told him the matter.. And amazingly the stupid mechanic told me that its the problem with TAPPETS

Got home and inquired the matter myself..

    Coming onto topic.

I have a serious issue of not finding a correct speed o meter cable for my bike. So here's one jugar that will help you alot in coming days.

    1. Dont throw away the housing of old spped cable that broke down.

    2. Buy speed cable of any brand.

    3. Now if you look at the end you will notice the difference in the fitting (Where its fiited into front wheel). Fixing that one is the whole story

    4. Take a plier firmly hold the end part of old broken housing (Its like a metal fixing)

    5. Rotate it to take it out. Its easy if you apply proper pressure and rotate the housing.

Now you are done with first part of taking out that metal thingy which will fit into slot of front tyre

    1. Now take out your new housing for speed cable.

    2. Do the same to remove the end of it (I bought the new cable with plastic fitting at the end. so its easy to take of without any pliers even)

    3. just snap on the metal part that you remove from old housing..

    4. Fix it and wolaaa... you have working speed o cable.

(The difference b/w piaggio speed cable and other's is just of a fixing metal thingy that fits into the slot of front wheel mechanic says it "Ulti chori wali cable" i tried it every where but no luck. So tried this and now its working fine.)

(If you acceleration wire is broken, you may fix of any brand, it has some fixing mechanism as other bikes)

@ Vicky. Very nice indeed. But iam planning to completely remove the tank and clean it thoroughly. Is there any kind of mixture or any product available to clean the fuel tank easily? Also can you tell me which L key num you used to open those screws?

And by the way my heart is heavy for the loss of your cotton vest .. Lolxxx
