I am not sure if it is only at wahadat road but I did heard at islam Autos that they are selling the old Paiggio models for cheap so that they can focus on the new version .... I did not knew they are selling it this cheap... this is a fabulous price in these days...

BUT GUYS PLEASE THOUGHLY CHECK IT BEFORE BUYING... dont end up like @angel82 ... uzair please through some light here.. kahi aesa tu nahi faulty frames wali bikes ko through away prices per nikal rahay hon ? as 2013 men aik complete SHipment lagta hai Faulty frames wali bikes ki ayee thee... jis jis k pass gaye wo akheer he zalil howa hai ...

98k for 2014 model or the 13 model? 98k is not a much discount for an 13 model. You can get this price easily after little bargaining. If they are selling the 14 model then this is a head turner.

Yes please check the frame thoroughly. The main tip to check that the tank should be in the center of the frame check the attached picture. you can see the tank is towards right. Even the handle touches it. This is a big fault It will vibrate like hell.
Ravi Piaggio Maintanence Tips Queries and Problems -1449422

Another fault that you can't check in a new bike because they won't let you to. That the center bolt there head it connected with the frame is not fitted properly. Zabardasti ghusaya hua hota hai.
Ravi Piaggio Maintanence Tips Queries and Problems -1449428Ravi Piaggio Maintanence Tips Queries and Problems -1449429.

This zabardasti did this to bolts after few months use.
Ravi Piaggio Maintanence Tips Queries and Problems -1449432 Ravi Piaggio Maintanence Tips Queries and Problems -1449433
no doubt that Ravi after sales supported a lot and changed all bolts and plate after making the whole bigger. But the thing is why did it happened at the first place? and if i won't ask my mechanic to open it so i can test what happens to vibration if i totally remove these bolts, i would never knew it in easy way. This thing would break the bolts then the frame itself slowly.

So consider these aspect while you are checking the bike for purchase.

i never intend to put these pics online but now as i was ask for an advice so i thought i should clearly mention what i faced. So other may aware of it. RP is an awesome bike but Ravi's production is mishandling it.

I guess this is enough to shake some hardcore believes in RP local assembly line :p

that is why I tagged you, not to mention that the blue bike whos picture is shared by uzair is a different bike I was off the view that might be uzair who went un lucky and had a bad bike but then I started to notice that there are lot of other RPs which have a bent frame and misaligned wheels specially after they started to manufacture it locally to save money....

So far I happen to come accross only one new model of RP which is @mqsdrana's bike its awesome and has not that Issue but I am keenly trying to learn if this issue us in any other new model if yes then we must spread the word to make people aware about it.

    which model were those ? 2013 ?

I remember in past Ravi sold bikes in market as 2009 models they have a faulty carb which gave mileage of 25 to 35kl/Liter and made plug shorts to much... my last RP was from that lot ...

So I came to know in 2010 that they offered free replacment of carbs for those bikes which came in that shipment after that I saw my bike doing as high as 50kmh on straight roads in normal speeds...

same I doubt for Uzairs RP too becuase he was not the only guy I also saq a bunch of more Rps with this hectic vibration issue... may be some shipemnt of 2013 had faulty bikes wal hu alam ... we can only gossip about it .. lol

2014 model bought on 23/07/2014.congrats to me , 2010 model sold . I noticed that in new bikes mobil oil level is at "L" level, and on dipstick it is just below the center of crisscross lines. My Q is should a buyer readjust the mobil oil level to H, or no?

bike might be running on a very very lean carb setting .. get its mixture checked and make it little rich so that bike dont over heat also get the plug checked paiggio comes with a very sh*tty plug if you have already replaced it then its gap might need adjustment.

Kixx is a very good oil is it 20-50W ? becuase its very hot these days if its low then 20W50 then bike will sure start to do tik tik as soon as oil becomes like water in hot temp specially kixx 10W40 or 20W40 they are for wintor only.

Death is inevitable. Our fear of it makes us play safe, blocks out emotion. It's a losing game. Without passion you are already dead. !

Default vibrations during break in period

I recently bought a ravi piaggio 125 in Jan 2015. The break in period is not over yet. Odo is 850km. Since i purchased it in Janurary, i have noticed a vibration. I am not able to figure out the cause. Khurram motors guy told me that it is a normal vibration of new engine and frame.
I have a 2009 model at home which was a used buy and it works very smoothly.
Can anyone tell me if vibrations are normal in break in(initial running) period? I keep my rpm below 6000 at all times and speed not more than 60km/hr. I sometimes feel that the rims maybe misalligned because the vibration seems to be initiated from handle bar.

Or front tyre is faulty!! Same was in my case when i bought Pridor. It was the rear tyre which turned out to b culprit!!!
