    Thumbs up Piaggio Again!

    Salaam ,
I have recently bought my new 2012 Ravi Piaggio Storm 125 and that is my second bike. Last year I had same bike in Silver colour. I sold that to buy a car and have now purchased that again. Hope I am breaking "the trend" .
The color of silencer changed to matt black and sound is a bit more heavy. Rest of it is as good as it was and will be (Insha ALLAH)

I am sorry about pics as I am not a photographer.

Yes bikes can be pushed hard to speeds like 120-130 but it is never ever recommended...At high speeds of 100+ a bike becomes sensitive to balance...A khada or a car speeding right past you can render your bike loose balance and you know what happens after that..I would recommend not going past 90 on a bike..We have bikes called commuter bikes not supersports..Bikes in pakistan are an economic alternative to cars and should be considered as such..also being bare naked in terms of safety we must be extra careful while driving bikes.I seriously condone kidz modding their 70s and other rides to rev with superspeeds at dangerous roads..I have seen bikers die infront of my eyes(2)(one while in my hands choked out his last breath),and a lot of accidents in my entire driving carrier...which evolved my driving style and impinged the wisdom of driving safe and secure for me and my family's sake.

Stay safe..Drive nice and slow...Wear best quality helmet you can afford...

I will post more pics of my bike... got recently installed HIDs ... and they are really good....
I have a xperia mini pro and the GPS spee dis very accurate .. especially when you are out in clear sky... i noted that down till 125 kmph after that i had to control the bike (obviously) ... i will post a pics this weekend... but you know taking pic of meter while speeding is fatal... but will still try with precautions and safety....

today my bike was acting strangely.. i dont know what happened first the gear box was a bit knocking when releasing the clutch in first gear .... i thought the oil might need to change than after two hours of KHAWARI i went home and while going to office i was on high way and the bike was touching 130+ and the rpm in 5th gear was going more than 10k .... i have to check the carburetor settings or will take to the mechanic .... i was happy and confused at the same time :?

that was result of careless driving
and yes i agree no pakistani bike is safe above speed of 90+
they become very dangerous and very hard to control

on straight road I never crossed 115~120 even when my ride was new, may be meter was showing less speed or may be carb was set on economic fuel, but it was enough to beat other companies 125 in a 2KM race, then I stopped racing (buddha ho gya )

yes I know that alterations, Ravi Bilal autos do that and gaurantee a top speed boost but I dont like it, the change the final drive sprocket set. but it kills the accelration.

Bike is best in its orignal conditions, because this type of alteration overloads the engine and reduces its long life. Even if you chnage the Deluxe sprocket you can increase the speed too amjad. but again bad for engine long life.

well its not only users company also claims 130km/h top speed but with alteration

wow! now that must be put to record, because your bike is stock, did you managed to sneeak at meter what meter was actually showing and what RPM engine was reviving ? were you alone or was the a pillion rider with you too ?

It would have been amazing if you took a snap like one guy took a snap on Gs150 sealing at 120kmh.

hassan Bro please always Cruise on highways and race in controlled environment, its for safety of you and other.

    Ride Safe.
