    Thumbs up Piaggio Again!

    Salaam ,
    I have recently bought my new 2012 Ravi Piaggio Storm 125 and that is my second bike. Last year I had same bike in Silver colour. I sold that to buy a car and have now purchased that again. Hope I am breaking "the trend" .
    The color of silencer changed to matt black and sound is a bit more heavy. Rest of it is as good as it was and will be (Insha ALLAH)

    yes thats what I learned from him that he bought it all in all for 95k .. but he siad in documents it is 86k excluding registration all above is show room owners own commsion or what ever you can say it ..

    I think if ravi increase its avaiabilty tab he kamyab ho gee nahi tu isi tran rulti rahay gee and at last customer will lose interst frankly, and suppose if yamaha kicked in then it will be completly history

    An update here at performance of Ravi Piaggio
    So far bike is going great. It has ran 19000 kms and MashaALLAH going smooth.
    Top speed is 120+ kmph and Fuel consumption is around 45kmpl in city.
    Any questions or any help regarding this machine ?? Just ask

    there are lot of people how belong to Pindi and need guidance from where they can get there bike tuned and repaired if you can put some Guidlines regarding that it might be good help then.

    For tuning and repairs i usually go to Shiekh Usman Ravi Autos in kohati bazaar rawalpindi. He is good at this bike and can also arrange spares for Piaggio if needed. So far I change oil at 900 km and tuning after 1800 kms. Never went with any modification on engine or have not put on any new setting on bike for any reason.
    The most important thing that i have experienced so far is the way you drive the machine. Allow your bike to warm up before you ride it. How and when you shift up or down. Putting overload on bike and dragging it in gears at maximum RPM will never give any results.
    Clutch and chain should be properly adjusted and lubricated.
    These little things matter a lot and makes big difference.

    and please stay away from people who don't know anything about this bike like most of mechanics claim that " O g ham bike ko aisa tune karain ge full meter maray ga". and then they start experimentation on your bike.

    Hi brother. mujhe ravi kay havalay say kuch pochna hay. meray oass bhe 2012 model hay. running very smooth. Thora rpm ka issue feel hota hay. like on 80 speed the rpm goes to 7 and on 100 it goes to 7.5 so is it normal? like if you compare with ur bike.. by the way i am using NGK Platinum plug. and its great. very smooth drive. and fuel average also increased. normally 40+ which is great. and speed ka thora issue after tuning. pehlay 115 to 120 easily jati. after tuning its going 100 easily. but iskay baad rpm he 8 then 9 per jata hay but not speed. Maybe its a meter issue or maybe some tappet settings. any suggestion plz. Thanks.

    Bro during tuning tappets should not be kept very tight and chain should not be very loose. Please check on with these things your self when getting your bike tuned. You know mechanics they just take it off their head. Get that checked again.
    When my bike is at top speed its RPM goes to 9.5 or max 10. You should know that Piaggio needs long road to achieve maximum speed and I consider this very good because it is very safe.
    Your bikes seems normal because there was a time when my bike did same after a tuning so i asked my mechanic and he only adjusted tappets and chain.
