Default my Hero 70 leaking oil from front shock..:(

    AOA brothers hope ur fine..
well my Hero 70 just leaking oil from the front one shock now im worried that if all the oil in the shock get leaked i need i new one then. i need to fix this thing up if some one knows who repair shock of bikes it just probably need a new seal otherwise i have to replace it which i dont think a good idea.
i think it happed due to uncovered shocks with just a rubber cup on it.
how much a new one costs?
can i fix it if someone having diagram of these shocks?
what kind of oil used in these shocks its thin transparent i still cant figure out which one it is.
    thanks alot.

^^ there are shock repairers... u'd have to find their shops.
How old is ur bike and how much used is ur suspension?
Repaired shocks usually leak again soon... there is no repair of shocks technically, however a lot of people get them repaired since new ones are expensive.

A set of both new front shocks of ur HERo would cost u around 2,000 - 2,500Rs.

beside oil seal check if steel rod is rusted then you have to replace it.
Dream is not that which you see while sleeping it is something that does not let you sleep.

well its 2009 model and very less used dont know how this shock leaked as the bike is almost new. well it not leaks too much just a little when the rod goes inside and with it take a little amount of oil outside with it.
from ur advice im thinking now to not to repair it as if it will again leak soon then money and efforts spent on it just became useless then.

^^ China bikes have that problem and its so common... id advise u to keep using ur bike as it is.

try repairing/changing which ever of these u r satisfied with - after the oil is leaked so much that it causes dis balance.

I just installed new genuine shock absorbers in my CD70 - front ones costed 3,500Rs and rear costed1,850 total: 5,350Rs... quite alot but nothing like the comfort of genuine honda shocks!

Thanks alot bro ur advice saved me from making mess of this thing and also ruining money on that and u see front shocks are expensive than rear ones. and i have brought this bike when theres some quality in china bikes now new ones are too low on quality even honda decreased quality of their bikes but still better.
