    RP Storm Evolution II -1467441

    RP Storm Evolution II -1521037

I bought this bike a month back from @omer85 as he has done some major experiments on it to make it look this way including engine swap to bigger Thumper (200cc).

Have upgraded few bits and pieces and will be posting all the moderation I will do on this bike in this thread from now on.

Bike Received on 16-2-2014 from Islamabad :
Checked it and pushed it to limits while heading home.

MashAllah excellent Vicky bhai many congrats on this great engine swap
its really pleased to see that engine is bolt to bolt fit in Piaggio Storm chassis

those performance figures are impressive i just want to know what about
rpm is 120km/h or 110km/h easily maintainable on this engine and i think
bike can do more if storm stock light weight rims & tyres were installed in bike
than i guess touching 140km/h would not be big problem

Vicky bhai as for as i remember this is rickshaw engine so how is its performance
in terms of acceleration how is the response of bike to throttle

This Engine is more tuned for low end torque than for top speed

I also did some performance mods on my 150 changed the plug and coil now my bike touches 95-100 km/h on 100/90/18 tyre. Can you suggest some more performance mods?

Yes I accepted the request it was me... hans bike had an additional feature of rocket like sound becuase it was twin cylender.
I have not played much with GS150 engine so far, Coil and plug do give good enhancement but I think ur bike must go above 100kmh easily even with 100 size tyre.

Amjad bhai this engine has a electronic RPM and I yet have to find a Electronic RPM gauge which can fit in the paiggio meter body easily... so I have no details of how much RPMs engine is doing, I try to guess redline by the vibration which is felt when the bike redlines totally.

Uptill 118~120kmh bike has absolutly no vibrations coupled with wide rims and fat tyres bike do not loses grip from road ... after 120kmh (real GPS120 not bike meter 120 ) the wind noise increases and you cannot judge if its exhuast of wind ... ...

Glad even 'Satisfying' froma critique like u is enough for me .. BTW its not satisfying for me .. its kind of a work in progress so far... I yet have to chrome the spacers and waiting for denter to give me the proper raditor hrness right now raditor is fitted only with Horn patris...

1 - Sir I used Cone Filter first but that was inhaling dust way more quickly then I expected specially in rain and mud, so now using stock Filter with Foam Film reduced to only one thin layer.

2 - Front Fork Travel is not increased, only the over all length of front fork is increased around 3' for the time being as radiator harness is yet to be fitted, right now the radiator is hanged using Horn Patri, but in any case I have decided to keep the front at least 1' high then stock height it gives very good handling and straight up sitting posture.

3 - Yes Front is not just a bit high its almost 3' high for now... at about 3pm I got message from @12gauge which I read in the morning offcourse and laughed really hard he was too much dispoointed from me to raise the bike front only for radiaotor ..

InshAllah may be in a day or a two I will receive the harness so I can fit the radiator then I will lower it a 2' but will keep it at least 1' up from front from stock paiggio because that gives a rider very good riding posture also the engine comes into balance as well.

Gs150 do 115km/h very easily even with missing... If nt u might need to check Coil n plug... Get Iridium Plug n good coil... Even jiangling china bike coil can do the task...

@vickytulla! Me? Critique? HAHA RP Storm Evolution II - tumblr mmfwxye4QA1qhxv80o1 500

But seriously, i am deeply impressed. Mainly because of the fact that you have thought and done all of this by yourself ... maybe with some additional help, but you get the point :p

Btw, about the raised front ... count me in too. 5" in a bit too much i think. Even a 1 or 1.5" would have done a big difference. So yes you really need to get it down a little bit. Looks too much like a chopper.

Also, why not get a Dream's Rear Handle (whatever you call it) and put it on Piaggio? I am sure i'll look good on it.

I am with you on the tyre size's reduction. Now it looks natural. And i am sure it would have more stability around corners.
Riders on the storm ... literally.

Yea!! as its spacers can be adjusted from 0' to 5' Once I fit the harness then I will see how much space I have to lower the bike so that fork travel is not disturbed.
