    I bought this bike a month back from @omer85 as he has done some major experiments on it to make it look this way including engine swap to bigger Thumper (200cc).

    Have upgraded few bits and pieces and will be posting all the moderation I will do on this bike in this thread from now on.

    Bike Received on 16-2-2014 from Islamabad :
    Checked it and pushed it to limits while heading home.

    I wud say get your bike tested by few ybr riders and ask them for feedback.. if they dont face issue then itss ok but if the also notice same problem then we can diagnoze it further more..

    Removing the foam mean adjustment done by remove on layer for air filteration ... Rathr removing foam... Adjust the mixture screw...

    Rest... Read about snorkle nd the mixture behaviour against Air Intake ...

    Look... Ybr is a under power machine... U need to change few things... Air intake change, carb mixture screw at rich... Plus free flow exhaust but again... Cdi will not have any solid impact ... But fuel avg will b down ... It will give not more than 35-38 for sure

    Brother. Dont let anyone disturb ur carburettor. If ur bike is doing 100-105 and giving ~40 kmpl average then its perfectly fine. For better results, visit New Shareef Autos, Mcleod road or Kamran autos, Multan road. They both are good at their work but obviously dont expect any miracles from them. They would just bring harmony in ur bike. And my advice is, dont change anything whether it is jet of carb, cdi or exhaust. Keep the bike stock and enjoy its smoothness and calmness.

    i don't know much but bike is relaxed now... the guy who removed it was saying k huwa ander nahi janay deta ... ziada air required hoti hai or kam air jati hai engine main .....

    is it dangerous to remove it ???

    this piece of plastic is actually supposed to increase the flow of the air by redirecting the air into the air box.. I am not sure why it was making a problem..

    Not actually to increase but to channelize it but the opening air filter gets from this pipe is not that big ... Channel shud be having more bigger opening to allow air to enter more....

    but bike is bit noisy now and engine grunt is less comparatively unless u r redlining .... but now every gear red lines even 5th gear as well when going down hill..... one thing i have noticed ybr is no more a stable bike after 110 kmph... and at 130 i find it very difficult to get a bit harder on brakes.... the point im trying to make here is that its is designed for 100 kph speed i guess....
